New ABC Schedule Moves 'Cougar Town' To Midseason

Cougar TownWell, Cougar Town fans, it looks like you'd better get used to waiting. Once again, ABC is pushing the show back to midseason, this time to make room for Happy Endings which is comfortably settled in Modern Family's time-slot (likely as a way to boost the so-so ratings). The network is also shelving The Bachelor until midseason, but we're used to that at this point.

The placements of Charlie's Angels alongside Grey's Anatomy and Revenge alongside Happy Endings and Modern Family are odd but not that bothersome, but the new Tuesday comedy block that pairs two shows that are far too similar for comfort is just ridiculous. Tuesday nights we find Last Man Standing and Man Up one after the other, but really they just look like singlecamera and multicamera versions of the same exact show. Oh, but one has Tim Allen. Whoopdie-freaking-do.

Here are all the changes you can expect this Fall on ABC, and if you want a look at some of the new shows, we've done a thorough run-down of the clips and previews.
