Scott Foley, costar of countless TV shows and one Jennifer Garner relationship, will join the cast of True Blood for a "major" role during the upcoming fourth season.
TVLine.com was the first to report the news that Foley will play Patrick, a onetime army friend of Terry's (Todd Lowe) who shows up out of the blue.
But Felicity diehards clamoring to catch a glimpse of Foley in this Sunday's season premiere (9/8c on HBO) shouldn't be on the lookout just yet: Foley won't appear until the season's final episode; however, his role will continue in season 5 assuming the series again gets picked up by HBO. It will! Probably.
Conversely, Grey's Anatomy fans (yes, they're still out there) needn't fret, as Foley's stint on True Blood apparently won't interfere with his recurring Grey's role. Phew!
But needless to say, Foley will be a busy guy for the foreseeable future -- at least until one of those two shows (or their networks) calls it a day, which, let's be honest, will more than likely be the Grey's camp.
