Former child star Fred Savage has signed on to direct and guest star on the upcoming season of ABC's Happy Endings.
The onetime Wonder Years star, who directed a pair of episodes during the series' first season, will return behind the camera and play himself in a cameo involving star Elisha Cuthbert ... and The Princess Bride.
Savage has become a go-to TV director, having helmed various episodes of series like It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Modern Family and Party Down.
