While the patients of Chicago's Country General endured some less-than-desirable hospital conditions (chemical spills, prisoner takeovers, blizzards), the staff could have checked in for care just as much. No one had a rougher time than Dr. Romano, who had his arm chopped off by a helicopter, only to be crushed to death by a different helicopter later.
