The latter day fast-talking, Ryan-crushing, well-meaning airhead Kelly Kapoor would be horrified to meet the dowdy and flavorless Kelly Kapoor of Season 1. Or, at the very least, take her to the mall. Kelly evolved from demure office drone to a more Mindy Kaling-esque gal to the full-on Valley Girl we've come to know and love (mainly for teaching us how to use our Netflix queue).
