Everyone loves a semi-doomed relationship, right? Oh wait, no, we don't. For 1.5 seasons, we were on board as Bates and Anna carried out their tragic love affair, only to be thwarted by Batesies ever-meddlin' wife. But now she's dead, and he's in prison for a murder he did not commit, and well — just get on with it, already. It's been 9 years since these two cats fell in love, and if Bates is going to spend the rest of the show rotting in prison, we'd rather she move on to greener pastures. Also, the prison scenes are just really, really boring. Like, remember when Bates was our favorite and we didn't like Lady Edith?! My, what 2 seasons can do.[Photo Credit: PBS]
