"It's glamour. It's fun. It's hyped up and crazy. But at the end of the night, we want to raise a lot of money for cancer research," said Revlon spokesmodel and actress Sarah O'Hare ("Head Over Heels").
The heavy subject matter didn't keep the celebs from having a little fun, though.
"I think it's important to contain the fire. It's better to allow people to think that you're ice, but inside have the fire," quipped Jennifer Love Hewitt.
"My mother suffered from ovarian cancer for years. Women's cancer research is desperately needed. It's time to find a cure," Ward said.
