Wait, What?! Kate Moss and Johnny Depp Reunited?

Kate Moss and Johnny Depp are reuniting… for Paul McCartney’s ‘Queenie Eye’ music video that is, according to The Mirror. It’s been 15 years since Kate and Johnny’s 90s love affair, but the documentation of their relationship is more alive and well than ever. Search #KateandJohnny online and you’ll find thousands upon thousands of photos illustrating their ever-so-cool relationship. The clandestine nature of their love has truly stood the test of time; never has a couple with greasy hair, leather jackets, and worn-in jeans looked so sexy.

It’s strange to think that it was only a year ago that Kate Moss totally spilled the beans about their relationship to Vanity Fair. Not only did she cry for “years and years” after they broke up, but apparently Johnny’s departure from her life gave her “nightmares.”

Over a decade later and Kate seems to have successfully moved on, now with her rocker husband Jamie Hince and an adorable daughter Lila Grace (and probably the most successful modeling career… ever?). Johnny may not have faired as well in love; at least he’ll always have Tim Burton by his side.

No one quite knows about Kate and Johnny’s alluring relationship post-breakup, but this Macca reunion will be the first time together on screen since the split. Both Kate and Johnny are friends with Paul’s designing daughter, Stella, and really, how could anyone say ‘no’ to a Beatle? There’s rumored to be other celebrities taking part, namely Meryl Streep. You know Meryl only does a music video when it’s something truly great.

the reunion will mark the first time the two have been together on screen since their infamous split.

As excited as we are for the new McCartney record and Meryl’s appearance, you know we’ll be waiting with baited breath for the Kate and Johnny cameos. There really hasn’t been a couple as cool and strangely vulnerable as them since they reined in the 90s. We’ll never be able to rid our minds that iconic Annie Leibovitz photo of them lying on the bed. Maybe we’re dreaming here—but we hope something of the like come to fruition in McCartney’s video.

In the meantime, lets all hail Sir Paul for this wonderful favor he did us all!
