We’re all about a two-in-one. From duochrome nail polish to ombre hair, we can’t get enough of the two-tone trend. But not all things that parade down the runway translate into real life. Two-tone clothes, however, are an exception.
Consider it a fresh alternate to color blocking. Two Faced fashions (BTR’s name for the trend) are all about perspective. One color or print is featured in the front with an entirely different shade or pattern in the back. While we’ve seen the look incorporated on tees, dresses and sweaters — our favorite on skinny jeans.
Of course, this is one of those trends that can go from hot to hot mess in seconds flat. The trick is to keep the rest of your outfit minimal or in the same color palette.
