Synopsis:
A comedy about the residents of a tenement in Washington, D.C., focusing on Mary Jenkins, a good-natured busybody who spends much of her time on the building's front stoop keeping tabs on her neighbors. Based on Christine Houston's play "227," in which many of the principal actors appeared.
