British supermodel Cara Delevingne has reportedly left her native London to launch her career in Hollywood. The catwalk star has moved into acting, with roles in films such as The Face of an Angel and upcoming blockbuster Pan, and she is also working on launching herself as a singer.
Reports now suggest Delevingne has moved to Los Angeles so she can focus on making films and recording music.
A source tells Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper, "She decided that to make her music and acting career work then she had to move out to Los Angeles. It is something that she has been thinking about for a while and she wanted to be out there from New year.
"Cara is loving it and she has no plans to return to England."
The quarterback of Mark Wahlberg's beloved New England Patriots has landed roles in two of the movie star's upcoming films. Supermodel Gisele Bundchen's football star husband Tom Brady will appear opposite Wahlberg in the Ted sequel, while his producer pal has also scored the sportsman a role in the upcoming Entourage movie.
During an appearance on U.S. podcast the B.S. Report this week (begs03Nov14), the actor and Patriots fan revealed, "We have an amazing performance from none other than the greatest quarterback of all time. Tom's in the movie. He plays himself, but he does an amazing job. Funny, funny moment."
Wahlberg went on to reveal that Ted 2 isn't the only forthcoming movie of his Brady has shot a cameo for - the sportsman will also be making an appearance alongside his teammates Rob Gronkowski, Stevan Ridley and Julian Edelman in Entourage.
The actor continued, "So, I got him (Brady) in two movies. It's going to be a big summer for those guys."
Brady previously filmed a small role in the Entourage show, for which Wahlberg is an executive producer, in 2009.

Supermodel Kate Upton was reprimanded by her baseball star beau Justin Verlander for trying to cheer him up before a big game.
The 22-year-old Sports Illustrated model thought that she'd be a tonic for her glum boyfriend, who is the star pitcher for the Detroit Tigers, and so she started telling him jokes. She says, "He didn't tell me before, so he'd seem like he was in a bad mood before he pitched, so I'd be like, 'Joke, joke, joke, joke, joke,' trying to cheer him up. And then he got mad at me. He was like, 'Stop making me laugh! I'm trying to be angry'."
Upton admits the romance has led to problems at her beloved Yankees Stadium - and she has been told she cannot wear Tigers caps or gear there.
She explains, "I'm sleeping with the enemy... and the Yankees told me, 'You're not allowed to wear a Tigers hat. You're not allowed to wear any Tigers gear'. It's like a bad break-up."
Upton wore all white when she attended Verlander's Tigers game at Yankees Stadium last week (04Aug14).
Foster The People frontman Mark Foster has expressed his "surprise and disappointment" after Los Angeles city officials ruled a huge street mural painted to promote their Supermodel album must be removed. The Pumped Up Kicks hitmakers promoted the March (14) release of the project by commissioning a massive version of their album artwork, designed by local music and art group Young & Sick, to be painted over the facade of a building at 539 S Los Angeles Street in December (13).
The image, officially measuring 148 by 126 feet (45.1 by 38.4 metres), was declared the largest mural ever constructed on America's West Coast, but now Foster reveals it is set to be painted over.
In a heartwarming message to fans on the band's website, he claims local authorities decided to revoke their permits for the piece, meaning they will now have to take it down by Monday (14Jul14).
He writes, "This news has come as a surprise and disappointment to me and everyone else that collaborated on making this project happen. This mural was our contribution to the city of Los Angeles - our kiss of color to the city we love.
"The permits that we were told were approved, have retroactively been denied due to a number of issues involving the building and the city. Therefore, we wanted to let you know that it will be there for the next few days in case you haven't seen it and want a chance to visit before it comes down."
He continued, "Thank you for all your support... Never did I think I would be involved in creating an art piece of this scale and magnitude. We feel truly honored to have been able to share it with you over the last year. Art brings to life things that can seemingly be dead, and can put a fresh perspective on things that are living. It's so important we keep creating."
Donovan Leitch's supermodel wife Kirsty Hume has filed for divorce, just months after the actor/rocker dismissed rumours linking him to Gwyneth Paltrow. The Camp Freddy star has been separated from the Scottish beauty for three years, and Hume is now making the split official by filing court papers.
The former couple married in 1997 and is parents to a 10-year-old daughter.
In the divorce papers, obtained by TMZ.com, Hume confirms they have been separated since 2011 and asks for joint custody of their little girl, Violet.
The news comes just months after Leitch spoke out to dismiss pictures which appeared to show him kissing his ex-girlfriend Paltrow at a baseball game last year (13) before the actress announced her split from Chris Martin.
Leitch, who dated Paltrow in the 1990s, said at the time, "It was purely innocent. We were sitting in the owner's box in front of 30,000 people with her two children right next to us. That isn't exactly the setting for a secret liaison. I consider her one of my closest friends. We have tons of great friends in common."
Former supermodel Janice Dickinson has gone under the knife to have her 30-year-old breast implants replaced. The 59 year old's consultation and operation was filmed for U.S. reality show Botched, which features Beverly Hills plastic surgeons Dr. Terry Dubrow and Dr. Paul Nassif's attempts to correct cosmetic surgery procedures gone wrong.
Her breast augmentation op to fix the cleavage ripples and ridges caused by her previous boob job was featured on an episode which aired on Sunday (29Jun14), during which Dubrow expressed his shock at how long Dickinson had lived with the same implants.
He also raised concerns for the star's health after feeling potentially-cancerous lumps in her breasts, but she was given the all clear after he completed the operation.
After making a full recovery from the surgery, Dickinson, who briefly romanced Sylvester Stallone, marvelled at her new curves and declared, "I can't wait to get on a pogo stick naked and just bounce up and down!"
Michael Jackson's friends, family and fans joined together on Wednesday (25Jun14) to mark five years since the King of Pop's death. The Thriller hitmaker passed away on 25 June, 2009 after suffering an overdose of anaesthetic administered by his doctor, Conrad Murray, who served two years in jail on an involuntary manslaughter charge for his role in the tragedy.
The fifth anniversary of Jackson's death prompted a flood of tributes on social networking websites, with fans across the world sharing their memories of the pop superstar and making #MichaelJackson a trending topic on Twitter.com.
A number of stars also took to the website to mourn the loss of the singer five years on. British supermodel Naomi Campbell shared a picture of herself posing with Jackson with her hands on his face, adding, "I miss you #MJ #RIP with #angels #kingofpop #loyalfriend #legend# #Icon #MichealJackson in our hearts... (sic)."
Rapper/actor Ludacris adds, "R.I.P. The King Of POP M.J."
Jackson's pop star nephews, Taj, Taryll and TJ Jackson, of 3T, were stranded in Europe on the day of the anniversary due to a strike by French air traffic controllers, but they managed to add tributes to their late uncle before boarding a plane back to California to be with their family. Taryll writes, "To my idol, teacher, uncle and best friend... 'I love you more'. #alwaysinmyheart #love #foreverMJJ #bestofalltime (sic)," while his brother TJ, adds, "Not a day goes by where I don't think about him. And today even more so... His smile, his laughter, his walk, everything. Love you, Doo Doo."
The co-executors of Jackson's estate, John Branca and John McClain, also released a statement to mark the fifth anniversary of the singer's passing. The message, posted on Jackson's official website, reads, "Our thoughts and prayers are with Michael's loved ones today as we remember the kind, gentle and giving spirit who generously shared his amazing artistic gifts with the world along with a limitless empathy for those in need. Time has shown that with each passing year the world's appreciation deepens not just for Michael's talent but also for his lifelong passion to spread peace, unity, love and hope across every culture and society. Michael's friendship, kindness, humour and joyful warmth will always be missed. The world is a far better place for having known him."
A number of memorial events are planned around the world on Wednesday - American fans are set to come together for a candlelight vigil around his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in Los Angeles, while other gatherings are planned in countries including Spain, Holland and the U.K. Fans are also expected to visit Jackson's childhood home in Gary, Indiana.
Supermodel Kate Upton has been named the new face of American fashion retailer Express. The Sports Illustrated beauty has been hired to model the brand's new collections, making her the company's first celebrity spokesperson in 10 years.
Chairman and CEO of Express Michael Weiss announced the new partnership on Wednesday (12Mar14) in a statement that reads: "(This) is the culmination of two iconic American establishments coming together."
Upton will make her debut as the company's spokesperson on Thursday (13Mar14), when she hosts the Express spring runway show at The Raleigh hotel in Miami Beach, Florida.
Her ads for Express will debut this autumn (14).
Up until now, model Kate Upton's acting career has largely consisted of making cameos in films like Tower Heist and The Three Stooges(where the Farrelly Brothers managed to have her in a nun's habit and a skimpy swimsuit at the same time). That will change this spring with the release of The Other Woman, where Upton has an above-the-credits role alongside Cameron Diaz.
Upton is the latest in a long line of supermodels that has made the transition to acting… or as Zoolander once labeled it, becoming a "slashie" (model-slash-actor). We know from her photo shoots that she can make a bikini look good even in zero-G, but can she convincingly deliver a line? Those who have preceded her show just how hard it is to get an audience to accept a supermodel as more than just a looker. Who's done it well and who's fallen on her heavily insured face? These five models-slash-actresses all have had their chances at thespian stardom.
Decker was the swimsuit model du jour just before Upton, and showed some skill as Adam Sandler's object of distraction in Just Go With It, as a pregnant trophy wife in What To Expect When You're Expecting, and on board the laughably bad Battleship. Now she's trying her hand as a series regular on the CBS sitcom Friends with Better Lives. Not a bad start to a career for any actress, supermodel or not.
MacPherson's most memorable acting gig might have been her story arc as Joey's temporary roommate on Friends. But the Australian cover girl has had her share of big screen roles, including playing Anthony Hopkins' wife (a woman worth killing Alec Baldwin for) in The Edge and as one of Sirens' temptresses. Her acting style mostly consists of employing her Down Under accent to enhance her natural beauty.
Banks is best known for her hosting duties on America's Next Top Model and her own talk show, but she started acting early in her modeling career, including playing a love interest to Will Smith on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. She's had high-profile big screen roles in films like John Singleton's Higher Learning and Coyote Ugly and pops up regularly in guest spots on TV shows. She's kind of funny and a little bit scary, whether she's doing a character or just playing herself.
Crawford might be the most financially successful model ever, but she always appeared more comfortable hawking products in infomercials than trying to act. That said, her spectacularly bad performance opposite Billy Baldwin in Fair Game has now reached the status of camp classic. Any time they want to make a sequel, we're on board.
Brinkley recently celebrated her 60th birthday by donning a swimsuit for the cover of People, proving that she's still got it. The former Mrs. Billy Joel doesn't act very often, most recently popping up on Parks and Recreation for a couple of episodes, but she only needed one role to cement her cinematic legacy: her turn as the flirtatious driver to Chevy Chase's stammering Clark Griswold in National Lampoon's Vacation has set her up as a timeless embodiment of the male fantasy. The teenagers that lusted after her initially are now middle aged men… who still lust after her, much more creepily. Brinkley mostly just smiles as opposed to attempting to act, but there's something to be said for playing to your strengths.
