Level 42 founder Boon Gould dead

Level 42 founder Boon Gould has died at the age of 64.
Lead singer Mark King announced that his bandmate was found dead at his home in Dorset, England, on Tuesday (30Apr19).
“It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to tell you of the passing of our dear friend and brother Boon Gould,” his statement read. “Dorset Police confirmed that he was found dead at his home on Tuesday morning. You are at peace now Boon, no more pain mate. Thank you for everything.
Boon, real name Rowland, played guitar and saxophone for the jazz-funk group between 1979 and 1987 and reunited for a one-off concert in Bristol, England in 2012. He founded the group alongside his brother Phil, Mark, and keyboard player Mike Lindup. The band had a string of U.K. chart hits in the 1980s, including Leaving Me Now, Lessons in Love, and Running in the Family.
Remembering his sibling and colleague, Phil tweeted: “My heart is beyond broken. RIP Roland Charles ‘Boon’ Gould, my brother, 1955-2019.”
No cause of death has been announced. He is survived by two children.
