Kate Gosselin is continuing her uncanny grip on reality fame with the return of her TLC show, Kate Plus 8. The program that follows her as she throws her eight children in front of the camera so she can keep herself in the limelight long enough to be in more paparazzi photos and maybe even another celebrity dancing competition returns to television on April 4 at 10 p.m. Clearly, I’m not amongst those excited to see what happens next.
In this installment, Kate is taking the tykes on a 21-hour trip to Australia to celebrate the New Year. The only thing I can think of that would possess anyone to willingly take eight young children on a flight that would drive most veteran fliers crazy is an intense desire to enrage one’s ex and it looks like Kate’s mission (if that’s what it was) was accomplished. Her ex, Jon Gosselin, tried everything within his power to stop her from taking the kids down under. Unfortunately for him, that didn’t work and now the whole trip will be broadcast for the world to see. Apparently the episode is really all about Kate, showcasing her adventures in Australia and leaving out any evidence of her children telling their friends that Santa Claus doesn’t exist.
