Kim Basinger's model daughter Ireland Baldwin is paying tribute to her mum's breakout role in 9 1/2 Weeks in a new ad campaign for clothing brand Rampage. The 18-year-old daughter of Basinger and ex-husband Alec Baldwin is the face of the fashion company's autumn (14) collection, making it her very first solo campaign.
The ads feature the blonde beauty wearing a series of dresses, fitted outerwear and fitted tops, but in one shot, she pays homage to her mum's sultry role in the 1986 erotic drama.
In the photograph, Baldwin recreates Basinger's famous image behind window blinds, sensually posing in the shadows and eating strawberries.
The young model credits her famous mum with encouraging her to pursue a career in front of the camera, telling Access Hollywood, "My mum was the one who kind of told me that modelling can really boost your confidence... Growing up in the spotlight has definitely made me stronger."
Baldwin follows in the footsteps of supermodels Petra Nemcova, Bar Refaeli, Gisele Bundchen and Irina Shayk, who have all been featured in Rampage campaigns.
Actress Evan Rachel Wood has shot down rumours suggesting she has reconciled with estranged husband Jamie Bell after they exchanged messages on Twitter.com to celebrate their son's first birthday. The stars announced their split in May (14), less than two years after they wed, but insisted they would remain close to co-parent their baby boy, whose name has not been released.
Wood marked her son's big day on Tuesday (29Jul14) by taking to Twitter to write a heartfelt message about her kid, stating, "Today is my beautiful son's birthday. One year ago my life changed forever and the light of my life came into the world watching him grow is like having front row seats to the greatest show on earth... Happy Birthday my sweet baby."
She also added, "Its the babys birthday (sic). Its my 'birth' day".
The tweets prompted Bell to reach out to The Wrestler beauty online to celebrate their son's milestone, writing, "Happy birth day @evanrachelwood What a ride! Love you", to which his ex replied, "what a ride indeed! Thank u 4 helping me through it all. Love you too".
The sweet exchange led some followers to believe Wood and the British actor had rekindled their romance, and it was even picked up by editors at a gossip website, who tweeted, "Evan back with husband, as she wishes son a happy birthday..."
The false headline caught the actress' eye and she immediately dismissed the claims, replying, "Wait what? No. Lets not start that rumor (sic)".
Wood is spending baby's first birthday away from home - she is currently shooting new film Into the Forest on location in Canada and recently revealed she was unable to take the tot with her due to a delay in obtaining his first passport.

San Diego Comic-Con: the annual gathering of comic book nerds, blockbuster action movie fans and the slightly terrifying people who still watch Supernatural religiously. All Bow Before ThanosAt the tail end of star-studded Avengers: Age of Ultron portion of the Marvel panel, Thanos himself, Josh Brolin joined the rest of the cast and riled up the crowd with a plastic Infinity Gauntlet, though this version of the legendary Marvel artifact probably doesn't have the power to create universe-spanning chaos like the real deal. The panel also featured short sneak preview of the upcoming film, which shows the team of heroes trading quips over drinks and taking turns trying to pick up Thor's hammer before banding together to battle Ultron. The trailer received a standing ovation from the mesmerized crowd.
The World's Finest Go Head to HeadIt looks like things are getting tense on the Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice set. The Warner Bros. panel featured Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill sizing each other up like prize fighters in front of an estatic Hall H crowd. We have to note how absolutely huge Affleck looked during the conference; Superman is certainly going to have his hands full. Director Zack Snyder then premiered a short sneak preview of the film, which showed a heavily armored Batman rigging up the Bat Symbol before looking up to see a angry looking Superman with glowing red eyes, ready to fire on the dark vigilante.
The Princess of the AmazonAlso at the Warner Bros. panel, Snyder revealed the first glimpse of Gal Godot's Wonder Woman costume via a new poster. The image features Wonder Woman brandishing a sword in an apocalyptic backdrop; the new costume, while lacking the iconic stars and stripes, is a fine mix of comic book inspirations and modern sensibilities. Best of all, Gadot looks positively fierce in the role. You could almost hear all the haters around the world silence at once.
Get ready for Guardians of the Galaxy 2Still a week away from the release of Guardians of the Galaxy, a boldly confident Marvel revealed that Guardians of the Galaxy 2 would arrive on July 28, 2017, with director James Gunn appearing via video from London to help announce the news.
The Hateful Eight Is a GoAfter a very messy and public leaking scandal, it looks like cooler heads have prevailed. Quentin Tarantino's shelved Western is set to begin filming in early 2015.
Ant-Man Infests Hall HThe cast and crew of the turbulent Ant-Man production gathered at the Marvel panel to introduce newcomers Corey Stoll and Evangeline Lilly to the crowd. Lilly will play Hope Pym, The daughter of Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) while Stoll will play Darren Cross, who will eventually become a similarly insect-themed foil to Ant-Man named Yellowjacket. Marvel boss Paul Feige also introduced a clip from the film which featured Paul Rudd's Scott Lang in the Ant-Man suit, jumping on a flying insect while being coached by Hank Pym.
Actor Ryan Dorsey stunned his parents when he announced plans to wed Glee star Naya Rivera just six weeks ahead of the nuptials. The pair confirmed on Wednesday (23Jul14) that they had married in secret on 19 July (14) in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico in front of a small gathering of family members.
The wedding came just three months after Rivera ended her engagement to rapper Big Sean, and now Dorsey's father Arnold has revealed the couple was in a rush to tie the knot.
He tells Britain's Daily Mail, "We knew about the wedding six weeks ago, still, it was a bit of a shock! I met Naya a couple of weeks ago, I was working in California and I drove up to her house. She's very tiny, real petite, but real down to earth, not with her nose stuck up in the air."
Star Trek star George Takei can sympathise with the Honduras youngsters experiencing life in America from border patrol prisons, because he and his family were marched into an internment camp during World War Two. More than 57,000 people have attempted to gain access to America this year and many of them are children under the age of 12 attempting to escape the gang violence back home.
The majority have been caught at the border by customs officials, and Takei can appreciate what they are going through.
He says, "They come from a terrifying place already. I mean Honduras has the highest homicide rate in the world - kids being killed by gangsters. They are not immigrants, they are asylum seekers for their lives. They can't be treated like immigrants."
And hearing many of them are entering the U.S. behind bars reminds him of his own time in prison camps when he was five.
He recalls, "We were ordered out of our two-bedroom home here in Los Angeles... We were in the living room looking out the front window and I saw two American soldiers with bayoneted rifles come marching up our driveway; they stomped up the front porch and banged on the front door.
"My father answered it and literally at gunpoint they ordered us out."
Japanese Americans were interned in 'War Relocation Camps' throughout the United States in 1942, shortly after Japanese forces attacked Pearl Harbor.
He adds, "(It's a) dark chapter of American history... (We) were summarily rounded up with no charges, no trial, no due process... and put in barbed wire prison camps, just because we happened to look like the people who bombed Pearl Harbor.
"We were behind those barbed wire fences for the duration of the war. There were 10 camps altogether, all in the most desolate places, hellish places. There were two on the blistering desert of Arizona... and we were sent to the swamps of Arkansas."
Actress Angie Harmon has obtained a permanent protective order against an overzealous fan who has been accused of harassing her family. Earlier this month (Jul14), Janice Lee Davis was ordered to stay away from the former Law & Order star and her kids amid allegations she had repeatedly trespassed on Harmon's Los Angeles property.
The actress claimed Davis would show up at her front gate every Thursday, pretend to be her landlady and demand rent from her. She managed to gain entry to the home on one recent occasion, but had left by the time police arrived on the scene.
Harmon appeared before a judge in a Santa Monica, California court on Tuesday (22Jul14) without a lawyer, and outlined her case to make the temporary ban permanent.
The judge approved her request, which protects the actress, her three children, a nanny and a family friend who is staying at the house. Her husband, former American footballer Jason Sehorn, was not included in the order as he reportedly spends the majority of his time at the family's home on America's East Coast, according to TMZ.com
"I'm still shocked (he held me down)! Like whoa. (Papoose) is an official dude. Nobody can ever front on that. He held me down better than some of my best friends who I grew up with, some of my family members." Incarcerated rapper Remy Ma, who is due to walk free next week (begs28Jul14), cannot believe her husband Papoose has been standing by her through her lengthy prison sentence. She wed her fellow hip-hop star in 2008, while behind bars for a 2007 shooting.
Former Destiny'S Child star Farrah Franklin has urged critics not to speculate about her disorderly conduct arrest on Sunday (20Jul14). The singer, 33, was taken into custody by police in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina after enjoying a night out with American football players Da'Quan Bowers and Ricky Sapp.
They returned to Sapp's home in the early hours of Sunday, but the sportsmen called cops after Franklin started shouting and slamming doors, according to TMZ.com. She ran off and was allegedly found lying intoxicated on a neighbour's front yard.
Franklin, who was subsequently released on bail, has yet to open up about the events which led to her arrest, but she took to her Twitter.com blog on Monday (21Jul14) to thank fans for their messages of support and blast those who were mocking her legal troubles.
In a series of posts, she wrote, "Unbothered and staying prayed up (sic) and, away from any negativity... Don't judge what you don't know.
"The sad thing is people LIVE for drama but run from the truth, Smh (shaking my head). There's always 3 sides to a story your side, my side and the TRUTH! But the truth is normally not as interesting as a lie, lol (laugh out loud).
"Thank you to EVERYONE who has reached out to send me love and Blessings during this messy time in my life it's greatly appreciated."
She added, "I pray for God to give me strength in every weak and weary place in My life and, for Him to turn My obstacles into Victories. Amen... God gives all of his hardest battles to his strongest soldiers."
Franklin was briefly a member of Beyonce's girl group before she was dismissed in 2000.
Rapper Remy Ma is preparing to document her music comeback in a new reality show following her release from prison next week (begs28Jul14). The Lean Back star, real name Reminisce Smith, has been granted an early release from the Bedford Hills Correctional Facility for Women in New York after completing six years of an eight-year sentence for her part in a 2007 shooting incident.
She is planning to resurrect her career as soon as she walks free and she claims her management representatives have pushed her into signing up for a reality series about her comeback after previously expressing an interest in the idea.
During a phone interview from prison, Remy Ma tells New York radio DJ Angie Martinez, "They're making me do it... I keep telling them no, it's too real. They don't wanna listen to me. I can't control my spur of the moment (decisions); they're making me do it. It's happening.
"It's about my career, it's gonna be about me leaving here (prison), me getting back into (my career)."
Remy, who used her time behind bars to obtain her college degree, won't be the only rapper to have a reality show - T.I., DMX and Ice-T have all given fans an insight into their private lives, while Ja Rule, who was released from prison last year (13), is set to front a new family show called Follow the Rules.
A dress drama almost ruined Blake Lively's 2012 wedding after a sparkler burned a hole in her designer gown. The Gossip Girl beauty has opened up about the highly-private South Carolina ceremony in the new issue of Vogue magazine, revealing her big day, which featured a reception performance from her singer pal Florence Welch, was almost ruined by a hand-held firework.
She recalls, "I look down and my wedding dress has a big burn mark from one of the sparklers. Right on the front! And it was just so heartbreaking to me."
But Lively learned to love the damage done to the custom-made Marchesa gown after her husband Ryan Reynolds helped her gain a new perspective on the wedding day drama.
She continues, "Later, my dress was hanging up and Ryan said, 'Isn't that beautiful?' I said, 'What?' And he pointed to the burn. My heart just stopped, because it was such a sensitive little subject. And he said, 'You'll always remember that moment with Florence singing and the sparklers. You have that forever, right there, preserved'. Now that's my favourite part of the dress."
The comment has since inspired the name of her new lifestyle website, Preserve.
Lively also reveals her rustic wedding ceremony may not have happened at all had it not been for the help of lifestyle queen Martha Stewart, who came to the couple's rescue as it faced a series of last-minute problems.
She explains, "Our wedding was becoming a disaster, and we didn't know what to do, so we called Martha! She said, 'Don't worry. I'll handle it'. She sent her team down to save us. And then she called her friends who have a home in South Carolina and set us up at the most amazing getaway. This is (on) the day of our wedding!"
Photos from Lively and Reynolds' big day were later published exclusively in Martha Stewart Weddings magazine.
