American football star Tom Brady badgers his supermodel wife Gisele Bundchen for attention by whining and pouting until he gets his way. The New England Patriots quarterback admits he has picked up a few tips from their kids Benjamin, four, and Vivian, one, to win the beauty's affection.
He tells Man of the World magazine, "I like attention from her. So when I'm not getting it, I let her know in immature ways, like a young, immature child would. You throw fits... you pout and you whine until you get what you want."
However, he confesses his tactics aren't working as well as they used to: "She's on to me... So now I have to learn new tricks."
The couple has been married since 2009.
Supermodel Kate Upton was reprimanded by her baseball star beau Justin Verlander for trying to cheer him up before a big game.
The 22-year-old Sports Illustrated model thought that she'd be a tonic for her glum boyfriend, who is the star pitcher for the Detroit Tigers, and so she started telling him jokes. She says, "He didn't tell me before, so he'd seem like he was in a bad mood before he pitched, so I'd be like, 'Joke, joke, joke, joke, joke,' trying to cheer him up. And then he got mad at me. He was like, 'Stop making me laugh! I'm trying to be angry'."
Upton admits the romance has led to problems at her beloved Yankees Stadium - and she has been told she cannot wear Tigers caps or gear there.
She explains, "I'm sleeping with the enemy... and the Yankees told me, 'You're not allowed to wear a Tigers hat. You're not allowed to wear any Tigers gear'. It's like a bad break-up."
Upton wore all white when she attended Verlander's Tigers game at Yankees Stadium last week (04Aug14).
Michael Jackson's friends, family and fans joined together on Wednesday (25Jun14) to mark five years since the King of Pop's death. The Thriller hitmaker passed away on 25 June, 2009 after suffering an overdose of anaesthetic administered by his doctor, Conrad Murray, who served two years in jail on an involuntary manslaughter charge for his role in the tragedy.
The fifth anniversary of Jackson's death prompted a flood of tributes on social networking websites, with fans across the world sharing their memories of the pop superstar and making #MichaelJackson a trending topic on Twitter.com.
A number of stars also took to the website to mourn the loss of the singer five years on. British supermodel Naomi Campbell shared a picture of herself posing with Jackson with her hands on his face, adding, "I miss you #MJ #RIP with #angels #kingofpop #loyalfriend #legend# #Icon #MichealJackson in our hearts... (sic)."
Rapper/actor Ludacris adds, "R.I.P. The King Of POP M.J."
Jackson's pop star nephews, Taj, Taryll and TJ Jackson, of 3T, were stranded in Europe on the day of the anniversary due to a strike by French air traffic controllers, but they managed to add tributes to their late uncle before boarding a plane back to California to be with their family. Taryll writes, "To my idol, teacher, uncle and best friend... 'I love you more'. #alwaysinmyheart #love #foreverMJJ #bestofalltime (sic)," while his brother TJ, adds, "Not a day goes by where I don't think about him. And today even more so... His smile, his laughter, his walk, everything. Love you, Doo Doo."
The co-executors of Jackson's estate, John Branca and John McClain, also released a statement to mark the fifth anniversary of the singer's passing. The message, posted on Jackson's official website, reads, "Our thoughts and prayers are with Michael's loved ones today as we remember the kind, gentle and giving spirit who generously shared his amazing artistic gifts with the world along with a limitless empathy for those in need. Time has shown that with each passing year the world's appreciation deepens not just for Michael's talent but also for his lifelong passion to spread peace, unity, love and hope across every culture and society. Michael's friendship, kindness, humour and joyful warmth will always be missed. The world is a far better place for having known him."
A number of memorial events are planned around the world on Wednesday - American fans are set to come together for a candlelight vigil around his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in Los Angeles, while other gatherings are planned in countries including Spain, Holland and the U.K. Fans are also expected to visit Jackson's childhood home in Gary, Indiana.

Jennifer Lopez has dismissed rumours she has started a new romance with U.S. Dancing With The Stars star Maksim Chmerkovskiy. The On the Floor hitmaker reportedly split from her dancer beau Casper Smart earlier this month (Jun14), and speculation spread this week (begs09Jun14) that Lopez has been quick to move on with another dance professional, Russian ballroom expert Chmerkovskiy.
However Lopez addressed the rumours on Thursday (12Jun14) after reading a tweet from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania radio station Qburgh which suggested the singer was dating again. While preparing for her World Cup launch performance with Pitbull in Brazil, she replied, "No I'm not. #rumors #nottrue". And when a fan asked her directly if she had moved on from Smart, Lopez replied, "No I'm not. (dating anyone new already)."
Chmerkovskiy previously served as a backup dancer for Lopez during her American Music Awards performance in November (13), and reports suggested she reconnected with him through her best friend, actress Leah Remini, who was a contestant on Dancing with the Stars.
Maksim has been linked to a series of famous females, including supermodel Kate Upton.
British supermodel Jourdan Dunn has split from her soccer player boyfriend, according to a U.K. report. The catwalk beauty began dating England player Daniel Sturridge after they met at Britain's V Festival last summer (14).
However, the couple has called it quits ahead of the 2014 soccer World Cup in Brazil, where Sturridge will compete as part of the England squad.
A source tells Britain's Sunday People newspaper, "The relationship is over, both have moved on. It's a shame as they got on really well but they just had too much going on. Jourdan will not be going to the World Cup.
"Any plans that might have been made earlier are no longer."
Oscar nominee Lupita Nyong'o had guests at the Essence Black Women in Hollywood Luncheon moved to tears as she recalled how she had struggled to accept her dark complexion as a child and used to pray for lighter skin. The 12 Years A Slave star opened up about her self-confidence battles while picking up the Best Breakthrough Performance Award at the annual event on Thursday (27Feb14), when the Kenyan actress admitted it had taken her years to feel comfortable in her own skin.
She started her acceptance speech by reading out a letter sent to her by a young fan, who wrote, "Dear Lupita, I think you're really lucky to be this black but yet this successful in Hollywood overnight. I was just about to buy Dencia's Whitenicious cream to lighten my skin when you appeared on the world map and saved me."
Recalling her response to the note, she told the audience, which included fellow actresses Kerry Washington, Oprah Winfrey, Angela Bassett and Naomie Harris, "My heart bled a little when I read those words."
Nyong'o then remembered how she had been "teased and taunted" about her "night-shaded skin" as a youth and how she had prayed every night for a little help from God.
She said, "My one prayer to God, the miracle worker, was that I would wake up lighter-skinned. The morning would come and I would be so excited about seeing my new skin that I would refuse to look down at myself until I was in front of a mirror because I wanted to see my fair face first. And every day I experienced the same disappointment of being just as dark as I was the day before."
The actress revealed it was only when she laid eyes on Sudanese supermodel Alek Wek that she recognised the beauty in her own skin colour.
She continued, "When I saw Alek I inadvertently saw a reflection of myself that I could not deny. Now, I had a spring in my step because I felt more seen, more appreciated by the far away gatekeepers of beauty."
Nyong'o concluded her speech by addressing the young fan whose letter had so deeply moved her: "I hope that my presence on your screens and in the magazines may lead you, young girl, on a similar journey. That you will feel the validation of your external beauty but also get to the deeper business of being beautiful inside. There is no shame in black beauty."
Cheryl Boone Isaacs, the President of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, the organisation behind the Oscars, was also honoured at the Essence luncheon.
Australian supermodel Miranda Kerr is set to design her first-ever collection of fine china. The former Victoria's Secret model has been named a spokesperson for Royal Doulton's Royal Albert fine china line.
A statement from Kerr, reads, "I'm excited about designing my first collection and have taken inspiration from my love of nature, the colour palette of my garden, my travels throughout the world and fond memories spent sipping tea from my Grandmother's own Royal Albert tea set that had been passed down to her."
The endorsement news comes shortly after Kerr was named the new face of street fashion store H&M earlier this month (Feb14).
A representative for Irina Shayk has blamed an inaccurate language translation for sparking reports suggesting the Russian supermodel had secretly wed Portuguese soccer ace Cristiano Ronaldo. The Real Madrid star was accepting the prestigious FIFA Ballon d'Or award in Zurich, Switzerland on Monday (13Jan14), when the World Player of the Year honouree gave thanks to his colleagues, friends and family.
He delivered his emotional speech in Portuguese and was translated as saying, "I am very happy, it is very difficult to win this award.
"Everybody that has been involved with me on a personal level I have to thank. My wife, my friends, my son. It is a tremendously emotional moment."
However, Shayk's spokesperson has dismissed claims of a surprise wedding, insisting, "The translator just changed it (girlfriend) to wife."
Shayk accompanied her boyfriend of four years and his son from a previous relationship, Cristiano, Jr., to the ceremony, and the beauty later gushed about Ronaldo's win with a photo of the couple on her Facebook.com page, alongside the caption, "Couldn't be more proud."
Bring out the eggnog, the snow boots, and a mouthguard to stop from chewing your face from the inside when stuck with long-lost family members - it's that time of year again, folks! The holiday season has got everyone looking forward to winding down from the craziness that was 2013, including Twitter-happy celebs. Bieber Clause gonna take you on a sleigh ride tonight http://t.co/giB2VTxNM7
— Justin Bieber (@justinbieber) December 22, 2013
Justin decided to turn himself into Santa, because why not. After all of the sleazy things he's been doing this year (see: bucket-peeing, brothel-frequenting, etc.), he pretty much is Santa to the gossip world. "Bieber Clause" sounds like a wonderful anti-Justin law, though, so the jokes kinda write themselves.
