Corey Feldman is single again after his divorce was finalised. The Goonies star's estranged wife Susannah filed for divorce in 2009 after seven years of marriage and their union has now been officially dissolved.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ.com, Feldman was ordered to pay Susannah $750 (£440) each month in child support for their ten-year-old son.
Susannah has reverted back to her maiden name Sprague.
Actress Kelly Rutherford has been given a glimmer of hope to keep her kids with ex-husband Daniel Giersch in the U.S. after a Los Angeles judge offered to help resolve the German businessman's immigration issues so he can return to America. The former Gossip Girl star has been locked in a bitter custody battle with Giersch since their divorce in 2009, and she recently filed papers asking federal court authorities to overturn a 2012 ruling allowing their two children to live with their father in France.
Rutherford claimed the state official who granted Giersch primary care of seven-year-old son Hermes and five-year-old daughter Helena acted beyond the scope of his power by effectively deporting the youngsters, but she lost her bid during a hearing on Wednesday (13Aug14), when the federal judge claimed he wasn't qualified to make such a ruling.
However, he reached out to the desperate mum and offered to hold a conference call with Rutherford's lawyer and Giersch's legal representative in an effort to find a resolution for the dad's visa problems, reports TMZ.com.
His U.S. visa was revoked in 2012 for undisclosed reasons.
Rutherford has until 19 August (14) to find a solution, otherwise her children must be returned to Giersch in France.
The costly custody battle prompted the actress to file for bankruptcy last year (13).
A surrogate woman at the centre of actress and U.S. TV personality Sherri Shepherd's divorce from husband Lamar Sally has given birth to a baby boy. Sally filed for legal separation from the Precious star in May (14) after three years of marriage, and asked a judge to grant him full legal and physical custody of the unborn child they had been expecting together through a surrogate.
Shepherd fired back by lodging her own divorce papers in a New Jersey court, citing irreconcilable differences, and she has since disavowed maternity, claiming Sally defrauded her when they signed the surrogate paperwork by planning to split from her all along and demand child support.
Their son was born in Pennsylvania on Tuesday (05Aug14). Sally was the only one present for the birth, reports TMZ.com.
The news emerged hours after Shepherd, a departing co-host of U.S. talk show The View, announced she is due to make her Broadway debut this September (14) as the evil stepmother in Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella.
Shepherd, 47, is already mother to her nine-year-old son Jeffrey, from her first marriage to Jeff Tarpley. She recently won a custody challenge from her ex after a judge dismissed his claims that she was too busy to look after their child properly.
Star Trek: Voyager actor Robert Picardo is seeking a court order to silence his estranged wife amid allegations she is spreading false rumours about his sexuality. The 60-year-old star claims his wife of 30 years, Linda Pawlik, who he is in the process of divorcing, has been telling friends that he has been having a secret gay affair with his longtime pal, U.S. TV legend Bill Nye.
However, Picardo is outraged by the accusations because he insists his close friendship with the host of children's show Bill Nye The Science Guy is purely platonic, reports TMZ.com.
He pours doubt on the affair allegations in court papers by writing, "I'd made it to 60 without having sex with a man and a 'walk on the wild side' at this age seemed unlikely to anyone who knows me."
Picardo and Pawlik hit headlines last month (Jul14), when police paid them a visit at their California home after an emergency call was placed from the house, only for the caller to hang up.
No arrests were made, but Pawlik subsequently obtained a restraining order against the actor, banning him from approaching or contacting her until the end of July (14).
The couple filed for divorce in 2012.
Terrence Howard is urging a judge to overturn his alimony payments because he cannot afford the bill. The Iron Man star split from his third wife Michelle Ghent in 2011 and their bitter divorce was finalised last year (13), when he was ordered to pay $5,800 (£3,625)-a-month in spousal support until 2016.
Ghent claims he owes her $325,000 (£191,200) in payments but Howard has alleged in new court documents obtained by TMZ.com that he could never pay her back because he only receives $5,878 (£3,500)-a-month once he has paid spousal and child support to his second ex-wife, Lori McCommas.
Howard has asked a judge to throw out their divorce settlement, claiming he was pressured into signing it.
The actor married his fourth wife, Miranda, last year (13).
Keyshia Cole's estranged husband has distanced himself from a divorce filing in his name, insisting he has not moved to make the split official. The singer confirmed her split from basketball player Daniel Gibson in March (14) after less than three years of marriage, and it appeared the sports player had started divorce proceedings when papers were filed at a court in Los Angeles last week (ends20Jul14).
However, Gibson is adamant the documents filed in his name at Los Angeles County Superior Court were lodged by an impostor.
He tells TMZ.com, "She (Cole) would have to do it (file the divorce papers). I am a Christian. I believe in 'til death do us part."
Editors of the website report the paperwork lists Gibson as his own attorney, and gives a home address which is actually a branch of U.S. fast food chain El Pollo Loco.
Director Michael Moore is single again after finalising his divorce from his producer wife Kathleen Glynn. The Fahrenheit 9/11 filmmaker moved to end the 21-year marriage in June, 2013, and the split was made official in Antrim County Circuit Court in Michigan on Tuesday (22Jul14).
The couple wed in 1991. They have no children together.
U.S. TV personality Sherri Shepherd will maintain physical custody of her nine-year-old son after winning a court battle on Monday (21Jul14). Since April (14), the former The View co-host had been locked in a legal tussle with her ex-husband Jeff Tarpley, who sought full custody of their son Jeffrey by claiming Shepherd was too busy to look after him properly.
On Monday, a judge at Los Angeles Superior Court ruled against Tarpley's request, adding that "there has not been a material change in circumstances," to warrant altering custody arrangements, according to documents obtained by People.com.
Shepherd celebrated on Twitter.com, writing, "God is good! Victory!!! The prayers of the righteous availeth (sic) much!!!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your prayers! #tearfulmama (sic)."
However, her legal troubles are not over. Her battle with estranged husband Lamar Sally over their unborn baby, which is being carried by a surrogate, is still unresolved. Shepherd filed for divorce from Sally in May (14).
An actress who has appeared in TV hits The Walking Dead and The Vampire Diaries has been sentenced to 18 years behind bars for sending ricin-laced letters to U.S. President Barack Obama and former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg. Shannon Rogers Richardson pleaded guilty to the crime in December (13), six months after she was arrested for sending three 'poisoned' notes to Obama, Bloomberg and his colleague Mark Glaze, threatening harm if they continued to push for tougher gun control laws.
The highly-toxic substance, which can cause death, caused minor injuries to one mail clerk, but the letters never made it to her intended targets.
The 36 year old, also known as Shannon Guess Richardson, appeared in a federal court in Texarkana, Texas on Wednesday (16Jul14), when she used the opportunity to apologise to her victims, stating, "I never intended to hurt anyone."
Richardson was ordered to spend the next 18 years in a federal prison. Once completed, she must also spend five years on supervised release and pay $367,000 (£215,882) in restitution.
She had initially blamed her estranged husband Nathaniel Richardson for sending the letters. He filed for divorce last year (Jun13).
Dance music superstar David Guetta is still fighting over the division of assets with his ex-wife Cathy, four months after their divorce was finalised. The couple's 24-year marriage was officially declared over in a Paris, France court in March (14), but it appears the pair has yet to reach an agreement over how to split its shared business interests.
A source tells the New York Post's Page Six column, "Cathy owns all of the business names, and the music (rights), (including) their 'F**k Me I'm Famous' brand (of dance parties and popular compilation albums).
"Even though (their divorce) is finalized, things are not good."
The report suggests Guetta will lose half of his $30 million (£17.65 million) fortune to his ex as she was key in helping him establish himself as a top producer/DJ over the years.
Another insider adds, "He's the rock star, but she's the business mogul."
