Profile of Jimmy Hoffa, the controversial man responsible for organizing the country's most powerful union -- the Teamsters. Hoffa used his power to make his workers' lives better, to increase their wages and improve their standards of living. His methods, however, were questionable. He had close ties to the Mob, loaning money from his union's pension fund to Mafia frontmen. Attorney General Robert Kennedy made it his personal mission to bring Hoffa down. In the end, Hoffa was destroyed by the same criminals he had onced helped. July 30, 2000 marks the 25th anniversary of his mysterious disappearance.
