Nemrud Dagh is the exotic funerary sanctuary of King Antiochus I, the enigmatic ruler of Commagene. According to an ancient Greek inscription, Antiochus' tomb is buried inside a rocky tumulus on top of the 7000 foot high Mt. Nemrud.
