Wiz Khalifa has expressed his disappointment with fellow rapper Tyga for pulling out of his new North American tour, insisting it was a "wack move". The hip-hop star invited Tyga to join him on the road for his third annual Under the Influence of Music trek in the spring (14), but the Rack City hitmaker withdrew from the live shows earlier this month (Jul14), just two weeks before the gigs kicked off in Scranton, Pennsylvania on Thursday (24Jul14).
Tyga took to his Twitter.com account to explain his reasons for his abrupt exit, claiming he wanted to use the time to finish up his album and work on a movie instead, but Khalifa has made it clear he is not interested in his excuses.
During an interview on Philadelphia radio station Power 99 on Friday (25Jul14), Khalifa revealed his pal had failed to break the news to him himself.
The Black and Yellow star explained, "He didn't tell me at all. His people was just like, 'Nah, we ain't gonna be on the tour (sic).'"
Khalifa hasn't spoken to Tyga since, but he insists there is no bad blood between the pair: "I'm sure he'll probably hear interviews of me saying that I thought that it was wack (bad) and he didn't reach out. I'm the type of person, I talk to people when I want to. We cool, that's the homie, and that was just a wack move (sic)."
He continued, "I felt like that (his excuse) was just corny. We're better than that. At the end of the day, you don't say 'album and a movie' to sound like you have something to do, 'cause I did my album before the tour and I'm shooting a movie once I get off tour and I got a son. So, at the end of the day, what do you want to do with your life?"
The Under the Influence of Music tour also features Rich Homie Quan and DJ Drama on the line-up.
Actor Tyler Posey was left hobbling around California's Comic-Con event on Thursday (24Jul14) after breaking his toe while doing a cartwheel onstage. The Teen Wolf star wanted to make a grand entrance to the MTV cast panel discussion at the San Diego pop culture bash, but ended up hurting himself in the process.
He tells Eonline.com, "I did a cartwheel when I was called onto the... stage and I immediately knew I broke it. It's my first broken toe I've ever had."
However, Posey had no time to have the injury looked at by a doctor, so he used sticky tape to buddy wrap the hurt toe.
He says, "I taped it up with Scotch Tape."
Newlywed British pop star Cheryl Cole has been given another reason to celebrate after scoring her fourth solo number one single in the U.K. with Crazy Stupid Love. The Fight For This Love singer becomes only the third British female in the history of the nation's charts to achieve such a feat, following in the footsteps of former Spice Girls member Geri Halliwell and Rita Ora.
Celebrating the success of her first single in two years, Cole says, "It feels great to be back but even more special to have achieved my fourth number one. So exciting!"
Crazy Stupid Love, featuring rapper Tinie Tempah, was released in the U.K. just days after she announced she had wed her boyfriend of three months, Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini.
It debuted ahead of Magic!'s Rude at two and Ghost by Ella Henderson at three.
Meanwhile, Ed Sheeran racks up a fifth week at the top of the U.K. albums chart with X, making it the longest-running number one since Adele's 21 spent 11 straight weeks in pole position in 2011.

Music icon Aretha Franklin stormed out of a fast food restaurant in Ontario, Canada last week (22Jul14) after a nasty encounter with a rude employee. The Queen of Soul stopped by the Johnny Rockets eatery in Niagara Falls after performing a sold-out gig in nearby Lewiston, New York and took a seat at an empty booth as she waited for her hamburger and Cherry Coke take out order to be prepared.
However, she was soon confronted by a young waitress who demanded Franklin move from the booth as tables were reserved for eat-in customers only, even though it wasn't busy.
The singer, who was with her nephew at the time, decided she would have her burger at the restaurant instead, but the server insisted that was not allowed as she had already placed her order for takeaway.
The woman then ordered Franklin to stand outside the Johnny Rockets venue, which was located inside a food court, but the veteran star had had enough.
Franklin tells the New York Daily News, "I got up and walked out. I said, 'You should eat it yourself and you pay for it.'
"My nephew mentioned to her who I was and she said she didn't care who I was."
The Respect hitmaker, 72, reveals she was disgusted by the waitress' behaviour and insists she needs to be "spoken to" about her attitude, saying, "She's a public servant and she shouldn't speak that way to anybody, celebrities or non-celebrities.
However, Franklin claims the encounter won't put her off eating at Johnny Rockets again. She adds, "I like Johnny Rockets and I'll go on liking Johnny Rockets, but not that one."
A spokesperson for the franchise owner has since issued a public apology to Franklin for the actions of "a new and very young employee".
A police investigation has been launched in Australia after British pop star Lily Allen shared an Instagram.com photo of herself pretending to be arrested by a cop Down Under. The singer was being escorted through Gold Coast Airport in Queensland on Sunday (27Jul14), when she asked one officer to pose for a picture, in which Allen is featured kneeling on the ground with her head down as the cop places her in handcuffs.
She posted the prank snap online, ahead of her appearance at the Splendour In The Grass festival, alongside a caption which simply read, "uhoh (sic)", but the image has landed the policeman in trouble with department bosses due to an apparent a breach of protocol.
A spokesman for the Australian Federal Police (AFP) tells the DailyMail.co.uk, "At her request members involved placed open handcuffs (on her) for a photo opportunity.
"It appears the members involved were caught in the moment and standard protocol were breached. It is subject to internal processes.
The photo, which garnered more than 7,700 'likes' online, has since been removed from Allen's social networking page, although she has yet to comment on the controversy.

The Pop That hitmaker went public with his romance with Kim Kardashian's younger sister earlier this year (14) and he helped her celebrate her 30th birthday last month (Jun14) by showering her with $100,000 (£58,824)-worth of gifts, including a brand new SUV (Sports Utility Vehicle).
They conducted their first joint interview together on Thursday (24Jul14), when they appeared on New York's Power 105 radio station with host Angie Martinez, and Montana admitted mutual friend Combs played matchmaker for the pair.
He said, "Khloe's cool as hell. Puff (Combs) is the one who put us together."
The rapper also revealed he will be making a number of appearances on his girlfriend's family reality show, Keeping Up With the Kardashians, alongside Khloe's new brother-in-law Kanye West, adding, "They called me a couple of times for the new season, they got me. They got Kanye on there (too)."

Veteran Scarface star Steven Bauer is reportedly dating a teenager 39 years his junior. The actor, 57, made his red carpet debut with 18-year-old Lyda Loudon at the Hollywood premiere of Woody Allen's new film Magic in the Moonlight last week (21Jul14) and editors at UsMagazine.com claim they are a couple.

Star Trek icon William Shatner rolled into Comic-Con in a wheelchair on Thursday (24Jul14) after injuring his leg in a horseriding accident. The 83 year old had to be pushed onstage to appear alongside fellow acting veteran Betty White and Scrubs star Donald Faison for the Legends of TV Land panel at the San Diego, California convention, but he assured fans that he would bounce back from the incident, which took place the previous weekend (19-20Jul14).
He told the crowd, "I was riding a horse and had an accident. The horse got off scot-free. I did not. I wrecked my leg."
However, Shatner refused to let the painful injury derail his plans to attend the annual Comic-Con bash, adding, "I was not going to (miss Comic-Con). In a couple of days I'll be fine, but right now I'm in a lot of pain."
Tough guy wrestler-turned-actor Dave Bautista broke down in tears when he learned he had landed the role of superhero Drax the Destroyer in Guardians Of The Galaxy. The former WWE star reveals he had been questioning his decision to pursue a career in Hollywood after struggling to land his big acting break when he scored the job in the new comic book adaptation and it helped to renew his faith in his onscreen talents.
He tells the New York Post, "I was sobbing (when I landed the role)... I left wrestling, and I really pounded the pavement trying to get people to take me seriously as an actor for about three-and-a-half years... Finally there was some kind of justification that it was the right choice."
He adds, "I'm an emotional guy."
Bautista had previously only had small movie roles in Riddick and The Man with the Iron Fists. Guardians of the Galaxy reunites the grappler with his Riddick co-star Vin Diesel. Bradley Cooper, Chris Pratt and Zoe Saldana also feature in the film.
Marvel executives have unveiled plans to press ahead with a sequel to Guardians Of The Galaxy, days before the superhero movie even hits cinemas. Director James Gunn and actor Chris Pratt, who stars as lead character Star Lord, shared the news with fans on Saturday (26Jul14) as they attended the Marvel Studios' Comic-Con presentation in San Diego, California.
The announcement comes shortly before the first instalment of Guardians of the Galaxy opens across the world next week (begs28Jul14).
The follow-up film is scheduled for release on 28 July, 2017.
Pratt, who had to bulk up for the role, recently told the New York Post he would jump at the chance to reprise his part as Peter Quill, a mercenary who has to team up with a group of misfits to secure his freedom and save the world after stealing a mysterious orb.
He said, "I'd be thrilled to do (a sequel). I'm just going to sit back and eat chicken and do bench presses and wait by the phone."
The movie also co-stars Zoe Saldana, Vin Diesel and Bradley Cooper.
