A series of Ariana Grande promotional activities in Australia have been scrapped because of a bad photo, according to reports from Down Under.
The Problem hitmaker stormed out of a photo session with mX photographer Chris Pavlich because she didn't like the shots he was taking, and when her aides and security staff attempted to persuade the snapper to delete the pictures he took, he refused, prompting Grande to cancel the rest of her photo shoot with a group of Australian photographers and interviews with the likes of the Sydney Daily Telegraph.
The newspaper's bosses have since published one of Pavlich's shots that Grande wasn't happy with and listed the questions they would have asked the pop star alongside the ones they were told they couldn't ask, including queries bout Justin Bieber, Mariah Carey and the singer's late grandfather, whose death forced her to cancel plans to perform at The Roots' U.S. Independence Day festival in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on 4 July (14).
Neil Patrick Harris' son Gideon shunned his role as ring bearer at the actor's wedding to David Burtka in favour of becoming an "orange boy". The How I Met Your Mother star and his partner Burtka wed in a castle in Perugia, Italy over the weekend (06-07Sep14) and they decided to give their three-year-old twins special roles in the ceremony.
However, Gideon was not happy holding the rings and instead chose to hand out oranges to guests at the nuptials.
Sharing the news with viewers on U.S. morning show Live with Kelly & Michael on Monday (08Sep14), TV presenter Kelly Ripa, who was a guest at the event, explained, "(Daughter) Harper was going to be the flower girl and Gideon was going to be the ring bearer, and he said, 'I don't want to be the ring bearer!' And they said, 'OK, well, what do you want to be?' And he said, 'I want to be the orange boy.' And he passed out oranges to everybody as he came down the aisle...!
"He came up with it (the role) on his own. He had his little tux and his top hat and he was passing out oranges."
Ripa continued, "Later on, during the night, we were dancing (and) I said to him, 'Look, Gideon, I saved your orange because I'm going to keep it forever.' And he goes, 'Oh, you shouldn't! It's so delicious!'"
Ripa went on to reveal the "beautiful family affair" also included magic tricks, fireworks and a special toast from close friends Sir Elton John and his husband David Furnish, who acknowledged the progress made in the global fight for equal rights for lesbian and gay couples.
She added, "(They) got up and said, 'You know, many, many years ago, this would not be possible. We're so thankful and grateful to everybody for supporting us and our families, and how our children (John and Furnish's sons and Harris and Burtka's kids) have each other to sort of look to each other as another example of a family like ours and how the definition of a family is changing, always.'"
Elton also thrilled guests by performing during the reception.
R&B veteran Johnny Gill has reportedly embarked on a new romance with actress and U.S. TV personality Sherri Shepherd. The New Edition star performed with his band on Shepherd's former daytime talk show The View in June (14) and they got along so well, they have started dating long distance, according to DailyMail.co.uk.
A source tells the website, "Sherri is a big New Edition fan and was excited to have them at the show. But she and Johnny really connected and exchanged personal contact information."
The Precious actress, who split from her second husband, Lamar Sally, in May (14), visited Gill on various dates on New Edition's summer (14) tour, and the insider adds, "She flew out to see him in Houston, Virginia Beach and Los Angeles. She enjoyed being out on the road and enjoyed getting to know him."
Shepherd is currently in the middle of a bitter divorce battle with Sally, her husband of three years. The former couple is also fighting over custody of a baby son, who was born via a surrogate in August (14). Shepherd has disavowed maternity, claiming her ex defrauded her when they signed the surrogate paperwork by planning to split from her all along and demand child support.
She also has a nine-year-old son, Jeffrey, from her first marriage to Jeff Tarpley.
Gill has never been married, but has a boy with an ex-girlfriend.

Model/actress Kelly Brook has tried to play down criticism over her domestic violence confession, insisting it was okay to punch her former boyfriends as they are "big men" who she could not "damage". The Piranha 3D star hit headlines in her native U.K. last week (ends07Sep145) with the serialisation of her memoirs, in which she admits assaulting two former lovers - actor Jason Statham and rugby player Danny Cipriani - by punching them in the face.
Anti-domestic violence campaigners slammed the star over the revelations in her new book Up Close, branding her behaviour "unacceptable", but now Brook has spoken out to make light of the incidents.
She is adamant the assaults on her then-partners are no big deal because Statham is a "martial arts expert" and both men are big and burly.
Brook tells U.K. TV show This Morning, "In my defence, I don't think (Statham) felt it. This is Jason we're talking about - he's a martial arts expert!...
"It's true I did both of those things. I'm not saying I'm an angel and I'm not saying that things I've done are right. I'm not saying that's the right thing to do at all but yeah, I guess I got some of that fiery passion from my parents... These are big men that I go out with, they're not going to (feel it)... Look at me! I can't exactly do a man any damage."
Rolling Stones rocker Keith Richards kept his teenage daughters under control by banning lipstick and threatening their boyfriends. The music veteran has two girls with his wife Patti Hansen, Theodora, 29, and Alexandra, 28, as well as three older children from a previous relationship.
Model Theodora has now revealed Richards was a strict father who kept a close eye on his two daughters as they were growing up.
She tells Britain's The Sunday Times Magazine, "Dad could be strict with us and it was often over small things such as 'No singing at the dinner table' or 'No lipstick 'til you're 16'... When it came to boyfriends, he was usually great... When I was 16. I'll never forget the time he said to one of them, 'Cut it out or I'll cut it off.'"
Theodora also explains she found out about her dad's past drug-taking when watching a U.S. talk show at the age of 11, but admits she does not want to know about his rock 'n' roll excesses and has not read his acclaimed autobiography Life, adding, "There are things I don't want to know."
Actor Tom Hiddleston tested out his singing skills by making a surprise appearance at a music festival to prepare for his role as country singer Hank Williams in an upcoming biopic. The Thor star paid a visit to Michigan's Wheatland Music Festival on Saturday (06Sep14) and took to the stage for a cover of the music icon's Move It On Over.
The British actor showcased his Southern U.S. drawl and guitar playing skills during his performance, much to the delight of fans at the bluegrass and folk festival.
Hiddleston's unannounced gig occurred just a month before he's due to begin filming on I Saw The Light, a film based on author Colin Escott's book, Hank Williams: The Biography.
Rocker Ringo Starr is planning to make Los Angeles his permanent home once he sells off his base in his native Britain. The former Beatles drummer reveals he is offloading his 200-acre estate in Surrey, England so he and his wife Barbara Bach can make full use of their Beverly Hills mansion and embrace the clean-living Los Angeles lifestyle.
He tells Britain's Mail on Sunday newspaper, "We're selling our house in Surrey and moving to L.A. We've had it for 15 years but we don't spend enough time there, and L.A is the right place for us to be now.
"It's not that sad, because it's time for a change... and the weather is better over there. I'm really into the healthy lifestyle that they have out in L.A."
Starr bought the Surrey property in 1999. He also owns an apartment in London.
One Direction star Louis Tomlinson is still feeling the effects from a soccer injury he sustained last year (13). The What Makes You Beautiful hitmaker collided with professional soccer player Gabriel Agbonlahor during a charity match at Celtic Park in Scotland, and he was pictured vomiting and bending over in agony on the pitch.
He tells Britain's Sun on Sunday newspaper that his knee has still not returned to normal, explaining, "It turned out it actually damaged my medial ligament and it's not had time to properly heal..."
Tomlinson will take part in the annual celebrity charity game on Sunday (07Sep14) and adds, "I'm just glad Agbonlahor isn't playing."
5 Seconds Of Summer bassist Calum Hood has laughed off his nude pictures scandal, insisting he is not going to let the mishap upset him. The Australian pop star hit headlines last month (Aug14) when a series of saucy photographs featuring the bassist showing off his erect penis hit the Internet.
The images were reportedly exchanged with a contact via messaging service Snapchat and later splashed all over the web, but Hood is adamant there is no point worrying as fans will soon forget the furore.
He tells Britain's The Sun newspaper, "You just gotta move on. I wasn't going to sit in my room and cry over it. It's out there now - it'll be gone in two days."
