Disgraced football player Michael Vick has been sentenced to 23 months in prison for his part as the leader of a dogfighting ring.
The shamed Atlanta Falcons quarterback started serving his sentence three weeks ago after turning himself early.
Wearing prison garb, Vick arrived in court in Virginia before many of the reporters covering the case had turned up.
Vick previously apologized for his part in the Bad Newz Kennels dogfighting scandal and helped federal authorities with other similar criminal activity.
