An aspiring singer who was plucked from obscurity by former footballer Chad Johnson on his 2010 dating show has been arrested on suspicion of stabbing her boyfriend. Rubi Pazmino, 32, was chosen as the winner of reality TV series Ochocinco: The Ultimate Catch which helped the star, formerly known as Chad Ochocinco, find love.
The romance between the pair failed to blossom into a long-term love affair, and Pazmino is now back in the news after she was arrested for allegedly attacking her current boyfriend with a kitchen knife at their home in Chicago, Illinois on 25 May (14).
She was charged with domestic battery and later released on bail, according to TMZ.com. The injured man was admitted to hospital in a critical condition with a knife wound to the chest.
Johnson says of the shocking story, "She was a doll during our times together. I love her and wish her the best in these rough times."
Comedian Kevin Hart has taken aim at his ex-wife, Torrei, after she confessed his infidelity led to their divorce in a recent TV interview. The Ride Along star ended his seven-year marriage in 2011 and now his ex is ready to reveal all about the funnyman's private life in a new U.S. reality TV series, titled Atlanta Exes.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, which aired on Tuesday (20May14), Torrei claimed the funnyman's affair with his current girlfriend, Eniko Parrish, ultimately led to the demise of their relationship, blaming the other woman for breaking up their family.
She said, "I never lashed out. I never tried to punch her in the face, even though I've had moments where - trust and believe - I wanted to K.O. (knockout) her a**."
Torrei, who is the mother of Hart's two children, added, "It does hurt that my kids have to be around a woman who broke up a marriage. I was with Kevin when he was selling sneakers for five dollars an hour... I was his muse. I was there from the beginning."
But on Wednesday (21May14), the comedian took to Twitter.com to fire back at his ex-wife, insisting Parrish had nothing to do with the break up of his marriage.
He wrote, "Fame is a unbelievable drug people... My Ex wife is the mother of my 2 beautiful kids & is well taken care of, I go above & beyond what the court ordered me 2 do. Because she is the mother of my kids I would never slander her name or anybody that she's dealing with.
"I've actually embraced the man that she is dealing with with nothing but positivity. That man is going to be around my kids and for that reason alone I want to have a positive relationship with him. 4 her 2 continue 2 talk about my Woman is honestly sad.
"I've been separated & divorced for a long time now people. I've moved on with my life... My woman has nothing to do with my past marriage problems in any way shape or form."
He added, "It's almost 7yrs (seven years) total of me not being with my Ex. I guess giving a woman over 20k ($20,000) a month and still being there for her and being a incredible father isn't enough!"
Pop star Rita Ora slammed a U.S. radio DJ on Wednesday (23Apr14) after he confronted her about rumours suggesting she once romanced Jay Z. Last year (13), the R.I.P. hitmaker was at the centre of gossip linking her to the rapper, and during an interview with New York radio station Power 105.1's morning show The Breakfast Club, one of the hosts brought up the topic, asking her to clarify the story of an affair with Beyonce's husband.
The singer was quick to scold the host and exclaimed, "Don't you dare disrespect Beyonce like that ever again in your entire life. You should know better than that... that's just straight up disrespect. You can't even go there."
Later, she was asked about her current boyfriend, Scottish DJ Calvin Harris, and she appeared to be much keener to open up about their relationship, suggesting she and her man are in need of a proper holiday together. Ora explained, "I think he's ready for us to go away together; I haven't been away with him in a long time. I want to take my weave (hair extentions) out, so it will be nice to spend some quality time."
Veteran British singer Sir Cliff Richard has addressed the long-standing controversy surrounding his sexuality, insisting his romantic preference is of no consequence. The unmarried Summer Holiday hitmaker's sexuality has been a matter of speculation for decades but the singer has repeatedly declined to confirm or deny if he is gay.
The 73-year-old was asked if the rumours bother him during an interview on Australian TV show A Current Affair, and he insisted that while he struggled with the gossip when he was younger, he no longer cares.
He said, "It did (bother me) when I was young. It hurt my family a lot of course. But who cares?... It doesn't really matter to me any more. I have got gay friends. If I was gay would it make any difference? Would you not come to my concerts if I was gay? I hope not."
Guitarist Ace Frehley is confident Thursday's (10Apr14) KISS reunion at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will be a harmonious affair, despite the bandmates' public attacks of each other. He'll join founding members Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons and bandmate Peter Criss, alongside the group's current drummer and guitarist and another ex-member, Bruce Kulick, for the honour in New York - and he insists the group's big night won't become a big drama, no matter what they've said about each other in memoirs and interviews.
He tells VH1, "We say good things about each other and we say bad things about each other... but it is what it is. It's rock and roll. I mean, if all we did was pat each other on the back for every book, people would say, 'That's a boring book.'
"They want to hear the dirt. I've got plenty of dirt.
"(But) believe it or not, every time the four of us (Stanley, Frehley, Simmons and Criss) get together, even though it's been a long span of time, we're still brothers in rock and roll. At least that's the way I feel. If it's not going to be that way, I'd be surprised."
Stanley and Simmons have refused to perform at the gala following the band's Hall of Fame induction - because current bandmates Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer won't be inducted alongside them.
Hall of Fame officials insisted only the original line-up should be honoured.

Every family has its holiday traditions, and celebrities are no different. But since they're richer, more famous, and more prone to ridiculous and over-the-top behavior than the rest of us are, their traditions are probably a lot more exciting. After all, who wouldn't want to spend the afternoon gossiping over eggnog with Tina Fey and Amy Poehler or see what elaborate Christmas presents Jay Z and Beyonce have bought for Blue Ivy? It's got to be better than watching your own relatives hit the carton too hard after they've opened whatever last minute gifts your aunt picked up at the airport on her way in.
But what would it really be like to spend the holidays with your favorite celebrity? Would there be tons of glamorous parties? Probably. How about expensive gifts? You bet. And what about the hot cocoa? Even the rich and famous aren't immune to its warm, chocolatey goodness. In order to help you get through the holidays this year, we've come up with what we think some of the biggest celebrities are doing for Christmas this year, along with the perfect gift to earn yourself a spot on their Christmas card list.
Justin BieberHoliday traditions: Bieber probably throws a massive party every year, although his "Christmas" party doesn't tend to differ too much from any of the numerous other parties he throws throughout the year. However, in an attempt to be festive, he would wear an all-white ensemble that he would accent with red sunglasses and sneakers, and he would recruit someone to make a dubstep remix of his Christmas album, which he would play as the party's soundtrack. At some point in the night, he would probably have a bit too much to drink, and then he would drunk-dial Selena Gomez and leave her a voicemail of him singing "All I Want For Christmas Is You". Then, he would return home to his family for the actual holiday, where he would drink cocoa and watch Elf with his baby brother and sister in his pajamas, while his mother wraps the presents he brought home for everyone. At the end of the night, Bieber would make sure that there was plenty of milk and cookies left out for Santa; he would claim it was to preserve the illusion for his siblings, but let's be real. Bieber totally still believes in Santa. What he would give you: Sunglasses and sneakers. What he would get: Bieber probably wants some fancy chains or designer clothes, but we see the Biebs getting some footie pajamas this Christmas. Cool, grown-up footie pajamas, but footie pajamas nonetheless.
George ClooneyHoliday traditions: Clooney, being the sophisticated gentleman that he is, likely hosts a black tie affair at his home every year. Everything would be tastefully accented in gold, waiters would mill about with champagne and finger food, and all of the Academy voters who have been invited would have their every need catered to. After all of Clooney's A-List guests have finished their awards-season campaigning, Anne Hathaway — who has spent most of the evening hovering around the piano, waiting for someone to ask her to perform — would lead the guests in a sing along that would last about five songs too long. Ben Affleck and Matt Damon would get drunk, and spend much of the evening loudly declaring how much they love everyone at the party, before deciding to wrestle each other and knock over one of Clooney's impeccably decorated trees in the process. Meanwhile, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie would spend the whole party cornering innocent bystanders and forcing them to look through photos of their kids, and Leonardo DiCaprio would spend much of the night trying (and failing) to steal one of Clooney's Oscars. What he would give you: Clooney would make a donation to a charity in your name, but he would make a really big deal out of it. What he would get: He would say that, really, he doesn't want anything, because he already has so much, and he's running out of space for all of his exotic cars.
Lebron JamesHoliday traditions: As a professional basketball player, James spends a lot of time on the road, so for Christmas, he would just want to spend some time with his family and friends. He would spend a lot of time making his guests admire his Championship rings and the exact replicas he had made into tree ornaments so that he can decorate his Christmas tree with victory. Then, James and his teammates Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh would settle in with their kids to bond and play some board games. Unfortunately, with three NBA players, everything would get too competitive, and the kids would wander off to play video games while James, Wade, and Bosh get into a screaming match over Candyland, until one of them flips the game board in a rage. Then, after they calmed down, they would prank call Carmelo Anthony in order to tease him about the Knicks' current season. Finally, they would all settle down for a massive Christmas feast, after which James would wear the paper crown from his Christmas cracker for far too long, and insist that everyone call him "King James." What he would give you: Miami Heat jerseys for the whole family. What he would get: A festive sweatband to help hide his receding hairline all through the holidays.
Taylor SwiftHoliday traditions: Nobody does Christmas better than Taylor Swift; after all, she grew up on a Christmas tree farm. She would invite over a few friends for a Christmas tree decorating party, where the dress code would be either "ugly holiday sweater" or "blinding amounts of sparkle." From there, she would lead her guests in Christmas-themed arts and crafts, building elaborate gingerbread houses that replicated the most iconic scenes in Love, Actually, and serve up cookies so intricately decorated they would make Martha Stewart weep. Then, after a quick wardrobe change, she would lead everyone in some Christmas carols before everyone indulged in some homemade hot cocoa and then participated in a Secret Santa gift exchange. Finally, Swift would cap off the most idyllic Christmas get-together ever with a double feature of It's a Wonderful Life and White Christmas. Just be careful who you get caught under the mistletoe with, or you might end up as the inspiration for a song on her next album. What she would give you: Homemade jam or a scarf she knitted herself. What she would get: Cat ballet flats, red lipstick and lots and lots of glitter.
Kanye WestHoliday traditions: Though West might prefer not to take part in the annual Kardashian Family Khristmas Kard, he would send out one of his own that featured himself, Kim and baby North recreating the Nativity scene, and as one would expect, it would play Christmas songs that he re-wrote and recorded especially for this purpose. Then, outfitted in coordinating custom Givenchy outfits, the Kardashian-Wests would pay a quick visit to the rest of the Kardashians, where they would drop off unbelievably expensive presents tastefully wrapped in a color scheme of black and silver. Then, before they opened their own gifts at home, they would make sure to celebrate Yeezus, who, as we all know, is the real reason for the season. Finally, they would have over their good friends and the First Family of hip hop, Jay Z, Beyonce and Blue Ivy, and they would all enjoy a Christmas dinner catered by the finest vegan restaurants in the country before the men retired to the den to smoke cigars, drink some congac and congratulate each other on how beautiful their significant others are. What he would give you: A box set of all of his albums. What he would get: Kanye West would settle for nothing less than his own country.

If you're a theater nerd, a Star Wars fanatic, or both, we've got some good news and some bad news for you. Ewan McGregor is set to make his Broadway debut in a revival of Tom Stoppard's play, The Real Thing... but it doesn't open until next year. McGregor will take on the leading role of Henry, a playwright who finds his life beginning to imitate his art when an affair causes turmoil in his marriage as he's attempting to mount his own production about a marriage on the verge of collapse. So far, McGregor is the only actor confirmed for the production, but the team behind The Real Thing will have plenty of time to find the right people to round out the cast.
Although The Real Thing is his Broadway debut, McGregor has starred in numerous productions in London, most notably as Sky Masterson in Guys and Dolls and as Iago in Othello, opposite Chiwetel Ejiofor. He also plays Bill Fordham, the son-in-law of Meryl Streep's abrasive matriarch in the upcoming film adaptation of Tracy Letts' play August: Osage County. His past theater credits are a good sign that McGregor will not only be adept at tackling Stoppard's monologues and philosophical discussions, but also that he won't be intimidated by the shadows cast by Roger Rees and Jeremy Irons, who have played Henry in the past.
The Real Thing was originally scheduled to be part of the Roundabout Theater's spring season, but has been pushed back for an October 2014 opening. It will have a limited run at the American Airlines Theater, where it will close in 2015. McGregor has plenty of film projects to satisfy fans in the meantime — he's currently filming Mortdecai with Johnny Depp and Gwyneth Paltrow, and August: Osage County opens in theaters on Christmas Day.
Beloved U.S. comedian and TV host Johnny Carson's second wife has denied allegations in a new tell-all book suggesting she cheated on the star during their nine-year marriage. Henry Bushkin, Carson's lawyer for 18 years, claims he helped the comedian break into Joanne Copeland's apartment, after suspecting her of having an affair with former American footballer Frank Gifford, who was also married at the time.
Bushkin alleges the TV host told him, "I have reason to believe my wife is cheating on me. I also have an idea who the son of a b**ch is that she's shacking up with."
The lawyer-turned-biographer also reveals Carson was carrying a gun the night of the break-in, writing, "I was shocked to see that Johnny was carrying a .38 revolver in a holster on his hip."
However, Joanne, who was married to Carson from 1963 to 1972, has spoken out about the story, insisting it is completely false.
She tells the New York Post, "He (Bushkin) should release it under fiction... I do know that Johnny was jealous of him (Gifford) because he knew that he had been a friend of mine."
Joanne is not sure if Carson ever broke into the apartment, which belonged to her secretary, but she is adamant her ex would never carry a gun.
She continues, "He was terrified of guns."
Gifford's current wife, U.S. TV personality Kathie Lee Gifford, who married Frank in 1986, has also dismissed Bushkin's claims, joking, "(He) was accused of it (having an affair)... with everybody."
Carson passed away from respiratory failure due to emphysema in 2005.

Renowned for her unusually strong bond with her fan base, Lady Gaga now appears to be entrusting the campaign for her upcoming third album, ARTPOP, into the hands of her Little Monsters. Indeed, after making headlines with her typically outlandish headline slot at the iTunes Festival at London's Roundhouse, the pop diva announced on Twitter that she wants her adoring public to choose the follow-up single to "Applause." Here's a look at the four options she presented and which one she should hope her followers select.
Previously titled "Burqa" (hence the outfit), "Aura" begins with an intriguing blend of Ennio Morricone-esque guitars and military beats before a cackle of ha-ha's make way for a disappointingly generic slab of bombastic dubstep-tinged pop.
Lurching from smoky piano ballad to wailing classic rock to shimmering synth-pop and finally to turbo-charged EDM within the space of just four dizzying minutes, "Swine" is simply way too schizophrenic to be anything other than a bonkers album track.
The only track, on first listen anyway, which sounds like it can compete with the highs of The Fame Monster and Born This Way. A sultry sensual affair which leaves little to the imagination, "Sex Dreams" sees Gaga join the current '80s R&B renaissance in style.
An addictive mix of growling rock guitars, spooky synths and stadium handclaps, the refreshingly straight-forward "Manicure" proves once again that Gaga is far more likely to hit the back of the net when she’s not trying so hard.
Verdict: Gaga's already since tried to tempt fans to vote for "Aura" with its promise of a follow-up video to "Telephone." But although a radio edit may be needed, "Sex Dreams" currently seems like the most obvious hit.

Despite his need to promote star-making turns in films like Old School, Wedding Crashers, and The Break-Up, it's been 15 years since Vince Vaughn first hosted Saturday Night Live. That's right — just two years after the success of Swingers and one day after the embarrassment of Gus Van Sant's Psycho remake, Vaughn performed his first, and, until now, last, stint as SNL host in 1998.
Worried about a repeat Psycho jinx? Too A-list for the comedy affair? Whatever Vaughn's reason was for avoiding Studio 8H for 15 years, the actor has clearly reversed his position, hosting alongside musical guest Miguel Saturday to promote June 7's The Internship, co-starring Owen Wilson. And, based on the promo for his stint, he's ready to be part of SNL's team, even if he has the unenviable task of following up Melissa McCarthy's superstar performance.
But will you be happy that the Wedding Crashers star crashed Studio 8H? Talk about the episode here, and be sure to return Sunday morning for our full recap of the night's events!
