Black Eyes Peas star FERGIE is a new mum after giving birth on Thursday (29Aug13). Little Axl Jack Duhamel entered the world via Caesarean section in a Los Angeles hospital and weighed in at seven pounds, 10 ounces, according to a representative for the singer and her husband, actor Josh Duhamel, who has eagerly been anticipating his first-born son's arrival for weeks.
In a TV interview to promote his new film Scenic Route last week (ends23Aug13), the Transformers star revealed he was getting a little nervous about the birth, explaining, "I thought that I was going to be good. I thought that I was ready for this. And I'm a little terrified. I'm excited and I'm terrified because I am responsible for this little thing forever."
He added, "We're just eagerly anticipating the arrival... I'm really excited to meet this little dude. I can't wait."
Former The Sopranos star Jamie-Lynn Sigler is a new mum after giving birth to a baby boy. The actress' tot with fiance Cutter Dykstra arrived on Wednesday (28Aug13).
Her representative tells UsWeekly, "Everyone is happy and healthy."
The star hasn't revealed the baby's name as WENN goes to press. It is the pair's first child together, and they became engaged in January (13).
The new arrival comes two months after Sigler was left devastated by the death of her TV dad James Gandolfini, who passed away from a heart attack in Italy in June (13).
One Direction hit the red carpet in New York for the U.S. premiere of their new movie This Is Us on Monday (26Aug13). The five singers - Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson - arrived in Times Square, and were welcomed by a flock of fans who were hoping to get a glimpse of the boyband.
On arrival, Styles tells Digital Spy, "It is very exciting, I think it's crazy we have a premiere in the first place, let alone in America."
Tomlinson adds, "I just hope everyone likes it, and thanks for the support that everyone has given, and this is more for them so big up."

Alec Baldwin is a dad again - the actor's yoga teacher wife Hilaria gave birth to the couple's baby girl on Friday (23Aug13). Little Carmen Gabriela was born at New York City's Mount Sinai Hospital.
New mum Hilaria, who wed the 30 Rock star in June, 2012, has released a statement, in which she calls the newborn "absolutely perfect”.
The baby girl is the couple's first child together but Alec has a 17-year-old daughter, Ireland, with his ex-wife Kim Basinger.
The teenage model greeted her sister's arrival with a lengthy post on her Tumblr.com page, writing, "Welcome! We have all been anticipating your arrival! By we, I mean a lot of people. Girl, you haven’t even met them, but there are a ton of people who care about you. I’m not sure where exactly to begin."
Ireland added, "I sure wish I had an experimental, older, wild child of a sister. I would have been way better off. So here I am. Hopefully by the time you read and understand this, we’ll be best friends, sitting in some rad coffee shop in Brooklyn, talking about bands and how hot Channing Tatum used to be."
She then listed 10 Baldwin rules, including "REMEMBER THAT YOUR PARENTS WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU", "ENJOY YOUR CHILD HOOD AND YOUR TEENAGE YEARS!!!!", and BE CAREFUL WHO YOU TRUST."
She signed off by writing, "I love you, Carmen. You have been born into one crazy family. You are both lucky and cursed at the same time. We are going to have so fun much fun together. I can’t wait to meet you soon. I promise you I will always be there for you no matter what! Never forget! Your big sister, Ireland."
Model Caprice Bourret is celebrating after welcoming her first child via surrogate. The blonde beauty, who is also pregnant with a baby she conceived naturally, was in Los Angeles on Monday (19Aug13) to witness the woman she hired to be her "gestational carrier" give birth to a son.
The 41 year old turned to surrogacy after doctors told her she would never fall pregnant, but later discovered she was expecting.
Speaking about her first arrival, Bourret tells Britain's The Sun, "It was the happiest day of my life. I have never loved anything so deeply and been so overwhelmed with emotions. My baby boy is just so beautiful."
The new mother and her partner Ty Comfort will become parents again within weeks as her due date is in September (13).
One Direction have been ordered to hold off on partying after the London premiere of their new movie to avoid causing chaos in the U.K. capital. Around 70,000 fans are expected to show up to see the boyband walk the red carpet on Tuesday (20Aug13), before unveiling This Is Us at a theatre in Leicester Square, where hundreds of youngsters have been camping out ahead of their arrival.
In a bid to control the crowds, a spokesperson for Westminster Council has urged devotees to check out the action online, saying, "We are obviously encouraging people, if they can, to watch it (the premiere) from home."
Meanwhile, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan and Harry Styles have been advised not to hold an afterparty - because it could cause a frenzy among fans attempting to follow the heart-throb singers.
Horan explains, "The 'after show police' have been trying to stop us doing anything because there'll be so many fans trying to get in. We were told that up to 70,000 fans could come along to the premiere. It will shut central London down."
Metropolitan Police bosses insist "appropriate plans are in place" for the much anticipated event.
Actor Alfonso Ribeiro recently whisked his new wife Angela off to Hawaii to celebrate the impending arrival of their first child. The former Fresh Prince of Bel-Air star reveals he treated the mum-to-be to a stay at the luxury Four Seasons Resort Lanai at Manele Bay and made sure she was well-pampered with belly rubs and a couple's massage on the beach.
He tells In Touch Weekly, "We took walks on the beach, watched the sun set and played golf. It was incredibly relaxing and served as a wonderful opportunity for us to take the time to really appreciate and enjoy this last part of the pregnancy."
Angela adds, "It was absolutely heavenly."
The pair wed last October (12).
Ribeiro, who played Carlton Banks on the hit U.S. TV show, also has a young daughter from a previous relationship.
Singer-turned-winemaker Sir Cliff Richard is producing a new sparkling rose to mark the birth of Britain's royal baby, Prince George Of Cambridge. The Living Doll hitmaker produces his own wines at a vineyard, Adega do Cantor, in Portugal, and 2013 marks the 10th anniversary of the project.
The year (13) also featured the birth of Prince William's new son, so Richard has decided to create a special wine in his honour. He has named the new wine Congratulations - a reference to his chart-topping 1968 hit.
A post on the vineyard's Facebook.com page reads, "Perfect timing! To celebrate Adega do Cantor's 10th anniversary as well as the arrival of the new Royal baby, a new sparkling rose wine from the Syrah grape, 2010 vintage, is scheduled to be available for Christmas and New Year. Congratulations is the latest addition to the Vida Nova range and is sure to be in huge for demand for all celebrations!"
