Peaches Geldof's elder sister Fifi has posted an expletive-laden rant online urging critics to let the tragic socialite rest in peace following the conclusion of an inquest into her death.
Bob Geldof's model/TV presenter daughter passed away in April (14) after a drug overdose, and an investigation into her death, which wrapped up in Kent, England on Wednesday (23Jul14), concluded she had battled heroin addiction for two-and-a-half years.
The news sparked a storm of debate over the 25-year-old mum-of-two, whose 11-month-old son was left alone for up to 17 hours before her body was found, and comparisons to her own mother, Paula Yates, who also died of a heroin overdose when her children were young.
The criticism prompted a furious reaction from Peaches' sister Fifi, who posted an angry message to her Instagram.com page which reads, "Don't keep calm and f**k this and f**k that. F**k you. F**k off." She added in a caption, "Sums it up nicely about how I'm feeling about the viciousness today. Maybe she'll be allowed to RIP."
When another user commented on her posts, calling Peaches "selfish and sad" for taking drugs with her children in the house, Fifi replied, "You've no idea what you are talking about quite frankly. Yet another who has bought into the bulls**t. I'd appreciate you getting the f**k off my page with stuff like that on today of all days."
Hip-hop mogul Master P has apologised to his estranged wife, Sonya, for going public with her alleged drug troubles. The Make 'Em Say Uhh! hitmaker, real name Percy Miller, has been opening up about his estranged wife's personal problems ever since she filed for divorce to officially end their 24-year marriage in October (14).
The move sparked a custody battle over the former couple's minor children and prompted Master P to speak out about Sonya's reported struggle with addiction, insisting he would give her whatever she wanted if she got clean.
He said, "I ain't (sic) been with her in seven years, but I love my family (and) that's my kids' mother...
"One thing I wanna say is drugs is really killing a lot of families and I'm not gonna let it destroy my family... We're good... but my whole thing is, she can have it all if she gets herself together; it's about her kids, it's about this family..."
Sonya Miller has denied the accusations, and now Master P admits he was in no position to detail his wife's issues in the media.
Speaking to U.S. talk show host Wendy Williams, he says, "I want to apologise to her, to be honest with you, because I'm not perfect, nobody's perfect but I'm at a good stage in my life right now.
"I don't have a right to say whatever she needs to do. That was just me kind of like, getting back... if somebody says this about you, knowing I been (sic) taking care of somebody for 20-something years, it kind of hurt a little bit. But at the same time, I feel like in my life, it's about my kids, it's about our kids. Whether we never be together, we gotta take care of our kids (sic)."
Master P has also laughed off Sonya's claims that she has been living on welfare payments from the U.S. government, insisting she has always been well taken care of by both him and their rapper/actor son Romeo.
He adds, "I'm just saying, if she's living with Romeo, that mean (sic) she's living a beautiful life. Let's be honest. If our relationship don't (sic) work, she has her son Romeo, who's successful, she will be all right."
Michael Jackson's mother is working with educators in the King of Pop's native Gary, Indiana to rename a school after the Thriller star. Local officials hope the initiative will boost standards in the town, where six of 17 schools have closed.
"I don't think I would ever want to do something like that because my mum plays such iconic roles that I couldn't really see anybody for that matter being able to embody or encompass what it is that she is. It's a funny thing to kind of take on that (responsibility)." Actress Kate Hudson has no plans to remake any of her mother Goldie Hawn's classic movies.
Beloved British actress Dora Bryan has died, aged 91. The A Taste of Honey star, who also enjoyed TV success on shows like Last of the Summer Wine and Absolutely Fabulous, passed away at a nursing home in Hove, England.
A statement released by her son Daniel, who was with his mum when she died, reads: "It was heartbreaking but it was peaceful."
He added, "She was a tiny woman but her constitution was incredible. She loved being on stage, that's what she wanted. Not only did she do it, but she was good at it... She was a star and a mum."
Bryan's credits also include a handful of Carry On films and 1988's Apartment Zero, and she starred in her own BBC show in the mid-1960s.
She was awarded the Laurence Olivier Theatre Award in 1995 for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for her performance in The Birthday Party and picked up an O.B.E. for her services to drama the following year (96).
Born Dora May Broadbent in Southport, Lancashire in 1924, she started acting in pantomime as a child and worked in repertory theatre and with the Entertainments National Service Association during World War Two.
She became a West End regular after moving to London in 1945.
After a string of stage successes, Bryan made her big screen debut in 1948's The Fallen Idol and went on to appear in over 40 films.
She is perhaps best known for her role as an alcoholic mother in classic 1961 film A Taste of Honey, for which she won a Best Actress BAFTA.
On TV she played Dolly in Absolutely Fabulous and Roz in Last of the Summer Wine.
Her personal life was tinged with tragedy when her adopted daughter Georgina died from alcoholism, a disease the actress also battled. She was forced to give up acting when short-term memory loss robbed her of her ability to learn lines.
Bryan was married to English cricket star Bill Lawton until his death in 2008.

Tragic socialite Peaches Geldof was receiving treatment for heroin addiction for two-and-a-half years before her death. Bob Geldof's daughter had been taking heroin substitute methadone and undergoing weekly testing, but her husband Thomas Cohen told an inquest in Kent, England on Wednesday (23Jul14) he suspected she was back on drugs earlier this year (14).
He told the hearing he confronted his wife in February (14) and she retrieved a stash of heroin from the attic of their home and flushed it down the toilet as he watched.
The model/TV presenter died at her home in Kent in April (14) at the age of 25 in a chilling echo of her mother Paula Yates, who passed away from a heroin overdose in 2000.
Geldof's body was discovered by Cohen in a bedroom at the property on 7 April (14), and the inquest was told that when police later searched the home they discovered 6.9 grams (0.2 ounces) of heroin, several needles, and a burnt spoon.
The coroner, Roger Hatch, confirmed the death was drug-related.
He expressed his sympathy for the Geldof family but in a reference to the death of Yates, he stated the tragedy was not "history repeating itself" as Geldof had been trying to beat her addiction.
In 2011, Geldof sparked rumours she was on drugs after she was photographed at a fashion event in London with dark rings around her eyes and bruises on her arm, but she denied using heroin, claiming the marks were caused by skin condition psoriasis.

The teenage stepdaughter of legendary record producer David Foster has been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence (DUI). Bella Hadid, whose mother is model-turned-reality TV star Yolanda Foster, was pulled over by a California police officer in the early hours of Tuesday (22Jul14) after allegedly failing to brake at a stop sign on the Pacific Coast Highway and almost colliding with a Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department patrol car.
The cop approached Hadid's vehicle and asked her to complete a Breathalyzer test after reportedly detecting a strong smell of alcohol. The youngster, who was born in 1996 and therefore under the legal drinking age of 21, recorded a 0.14 reading - almost double the permitted 0.08 alcohol limit.
She was also found to be driving on a suspended licence, according to TMZ.com.
Hadid, the younger sister of model Gigi Hadid, was taken into custody and booked, and subsequently released into Foster's care.
Her biological father is real estate developer Mohamed Hadid, who Yolanda was married to from 1994 until 2000. She wed Foster in 2011.
