Actress Katie Holmes is breathing a sigh of relief after her daughter Suri Cruise's lost dog was found alive and well.
Chihuahua Honey went missing during a visit to a friend's house in Benedict Canyon, near Beverly Hills, California last weekend (23-24Aug14), just weeks after Holmes adopted her.
The worried Batman Begins star plastered posters around the neighbourhood alerting locals to the dog's disappearance and even offered up a $1,000 (£588) reward for the pet's safe return, but the search was called off on Wednesday (27Aug14) after officials at the Lucky Puppy Rescue organization located the pooch not far from where she disappeared.
Suri's furry friend was subsequently checked out by a vet and given the all-clear to return home, reports TMZ.com. Suri, eight, is Holmes' daughter from her marriage to Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise.
A beauty queen who was stripped of her title has disappeared with her $100,000 (£58,900) crown. May Myat Noe became Myanmar's first international beauty queen when she was named Miss Asia Pacific World, but the word 'dethroned' has now been written by her name on the pageant's website and organisers are demanding the return of her crown.
Pageant spokesman David Kim tells Eleven Media newspaper, "She thinks as long as she keeps this crown she's the winner."
It's unclear exactly why Noe was stripped of the title but organisers claim she had become untrustworthy.
Her former manager Hla Nu Tun claims Noe and the pageant bosses had disagreed over who should oversee her career - Noe wanted her mother to oversee her professional life.
Reports also suggest Noe refused to undergo breast augmentation surgery, as per Miss Asia Pacific World organisers' wishes.
Kim adds, "We thought she should be more beautiful... so we sent her to the hospital to operate on her breasts."

The Billie Jean hitmaker passed away in 2009 and his elder sister LaToya took to Twitter.com on Friday to reveal she still feels the pain of his loss on what would have been her brother's birthday.

Miley Cyrus has offered to pay the legal fees for a homeless youth she took to the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday (24Aug14) as he turns himself in to police for violating his probation.
Jesse Helt hit headlines on Sunday when he accepted Cyrus' Video of the Year award on behalf of all homeless people in the U.S. It later emerged that a warrant was out for Helt's arrest in his native Oregon because he violated his probation stemming from a burglary in 2010.
Helt turned himself in to the police on Thursday (28Aug14) and was released after posting a $2,500 (£1,470) bail, and his mother Linda has now confirmed Cyrus has offered to cover all the legal costs.
The singer's pal Trevor Neilson tells the Associated Press, "Jesse Helt turned himself in.. to Polk County authorities to address his outstanding legal issues... Miley Cyrus will be assisting him with this process, and they both are committed to working to help the other 1.6 million youth who experience homelessness in America each year."
Following the burglary in 2010, Helt was convicted of criminal mischief and criminal trespass, and in 2011 he broke his probation by failing to take a drug test, communicate with his probation officer or complete his community service. Helt is due back before a judge in September (14).
Comedienne Joan Rivers' daughter Melissa has confirmed her mum is "resting comfortably" after suffering cardiac and respiratory failure during a medical procedure on Thursday (28Aug14). The veteran funnywoman was undergoing routine surgery on her vocal chords at a clinic in New York City when she stopped breathing and was rushed to nearby Mount Sinai Hospital.
The New York Daily News reports Rivers was later placed in a medically-induced coma, and doctors are planning to take the 81 year old out of the it this weekend (30-31Aug14) and assess any damage.
Rivers' daughter Melissa flew from her home in California to be with her mum in New York, and gave an update on her mother's condition late on Thursday night.
A statement to Us Weekly via Mount Sinai Hospital representative Sid Dinsay reads, "I want to thank everyone for the overwhelming love and support for my mother. She is resting comfortably and is with our family. We ask that you continue to keep her in your thoughts and prayers."
Actress Blake Lively had a miserable 27th birthday on Monday (25Aug14) as she recovered from a bee attack.
The former Gossip Girl star was being photographed for her lifestyle website, Preserve, on Sunday (24Aug14) when she felt a sudden "electric shock of energy" and realised she had been stung.
In a post on the blog, she writes, "(It was) the final day of the shoot, I felt an electric shock of energy - was it excitement that I was about to turn another year older? Was it nerves? Why did it feel like agony? I like getting older... I think. "But this felt terrible. Does your butt quite suddenly (and painfully) deflate when you turn 27? Because mine hurt like hell... then my neck, back, legs and forehead. And oh my hands! They were shriveling (sic). It felt like I was being shot by dozens of tiny invisible darts. I felt like the Wicked Witch, melting, melting, burning, melting."
She adds, "I don't know enough about insects to say if they were wasps, honeybees or Mother Nature’s miniature flying tasers. What I DO know, is that just moments before we were in the midst of a gorgeous fall fashion shoot. Now, I was a Monty Python sketch; running at top speed in no particular direction, whipping my arms and hands around like I’d just discovered they were growing out of my shoulders without my previous knowledge."
Lively admits she was left shaken after the bee attack, but the swelling didn't completely ruin her birthday - she threw an impromptu party, where guests enjoyed slices of a vanilla cake the actress baked.

Beyonce's father Mathew Knowles is convinced speculation that her marriage to Jay Z was on the rocks was created to boost ticket sales for their joint tour.
The couple was hit with split rumours during its On The Run trek, which began in June (14), and neither of the stars spoke publicly to defend their six-year marriage or deny the reports.
Beyonce's mother Tina blasted the speculation, insisting "everything's perfect", and now the former Destiny's Child star's dad and ex-manager Mathew has accused promoters of encouraging the rumours to drum up interest in the concerts. He tells Texas radio station 104.1 KRBE, "I know, because we've done this from experience. There's a tour going on, so you sometimes have to ignite that tour. It's called a Jedi mind trick. The Jedi mind trick fools you a lot at time."
Mathew Knowles also alludes to the infamous elevator bust-up between Jay Z and his sister-in-law Solange Knowles in May (14), adding, "All I know is the Jedi mind trick. Everyone's talking about it. Ticket sales went up. Solange's album sales went up 200 per cent!"
The On The Run Tour concludes in Paris, France in September (14).
A North Carolina woman who is convinced David Cassidy is her biological father has penned an open letter to the veteran singer/actor in a desperate bid to establish paternity once and for all. Shelly Wright believes she was conceived during a one-night stand between The Partridge Family star and her mother back in the 1970s.
She has previously attempted to contact Cassidy via his publicist, seeking a DNA test to prove or disprove her claim, but alleges her requests to be put in touch with him have been rebuffed.
Now Wright, 40, has written a heartfelt note to the 64 year old in the pages of the National Enquirer magazine, in the hope it will be brought to Cassidy's attention.
In the note, she writes, "This is my cry: that the truth be revealed! All I want is to find my father - my real father.
"Growing up, I never looked like the man who was raising me as his daughter - and my whole family talked about it. Finally, I confronted my mother. She revealed that she'd had a one-night stand with David Cassidy in Nashville (Tennessee) in 1973. When I Googled him, I realized that I looked amazingly like David, and his daughter Katie."
She continues, "This is not a gimmick. It's not a game. I'm frustrated and desperate, and I just want David to know that I've been trying to contact him... And this isn't about money or fame. My husband has a good job. We have a good life. A well-known daytime talk show offered me a lot of money to tell my story. But I didn't do it - because my quest is to find my father. That's all.
"From the bottom of my heart, I'm begging David Cassidy - the man that I believe is my father - to agree to a DNA test. Then, and only then, will I find the truth."
Cassidy, who has been struggling to overcome his battle with alcoholism in recent months, has yet to respond to the letter. He has two legitimate children - actress daughter Katie from his relationship with Sherry Benedon, and son Beau with third wife Sue Shifrin, who filed for divorce in February (14) after 23 years of marriage.
Rapper/actor Andre 3000 has credited his role as tragic rocker Jimi Hendrix in an upcoming biopic with saving him from a deep depression following the death of his mother last year (May13). The Outkast star was left devastated when his mum, Sharon Benjamin Hodo, was found dead at her Georgia home, a day after his 38th birthday, but he admits having to focus on preparing to play the late music icon in the movie Jimi: All Is by My Side helped to prevent him from wallowing in his grief.
Andre 3000, who also lost his father, Laurence Walker, nine months later, tells the New York Times, "Honestly... Hendrix kind of saved me. I was in a not-so-great space, just in a dark place every day. I needed something to focus on to get me out of my depression and rut. Sometimes, when you're alone, you can let yourself go. I knew if I got on a train with a lot of different people, then I couldn't let them down."
Andre 3000 reveals he almost missed out on the chance to portray Hendrix, who died at 27, because he was convinced he was too old for the job.
He recalls, "I may have said it to John (Ridley, director): 'Man, I'm old. I have grey hair. Get some young unknown kid to play Hendrix.' I turned it down. (But) they kept at it."
The story focuses on the relationship between a former madam and her daughter. In the pilot episode, Billie Barkley, the mother, begins a new career and seeks to re-establish a relationship with her daughter, Sharon, a writer.
