Adam Ant heckled at U.K. show

Pop veteran Adam Ant was heckled at a U.K. show over the weekend (12-13Apr14) after he reportedly put on an erratic performance punctuated with lengthy expletive-ridden rants. The Prince Charming hitmaker, who is currently on tour in his native Britain, came under fire from fans at a show in Somerset, England on Sunday (13Apr14) over his strange stage behaviour.
A reviewer for local newspaper the Western Gazette was in the crowd for the gig in Yeovil, and reported the singer was heckled by the audience after he launched into lengthy tirades about his two divorces and his problems in the music industry.
Reviewer Emma Slee also criticised the singer for his “colourful language” and his odd antics, as well as his failure to play some of his classic hits and refusal to perform an encore.
Ant, who has battled mental health problems, recently axed a number of gigs on his U.K. tour due to “logistical reasons”.
