Actress Moon Bloodgood has released a new video to YouTube.com, pleading for donations to keep her niece alive. Little Olive Kang, who is 16 months old, has been diagnosed with a "severe congenital heart defect" and is in desperate need of a heart and lung transplant, according to the Terminator Salvation star.
In the video, Bloodgood says, "How do you make a video saying, 'If your child should die, could you please donate to my niece?' I wrestled with that but at some point you get over it because you're trying to save someone's life."
She adds, "What we found out is, God forbid, is if they are in that circumstance where they have to make a decision about their child they can direct donate the organs.
"The parents can say who they want the organs to go to. It's something I feel horrible talking about but Olive just took a turn for the worse and we are desperate for a heart-lung transplant and they have to come from the same person.
"Olive's parents were told we might have to start preparing for hospice care if the donor doesn’t come soon. Her lungs are dying. She could go tonight or in two weeks or in three weeks. They definitely don't think she has more than a month.
"We're at the end right now. It's such a weird position to be in, to hope that another child's organs are going to save yours. It's the worst predicament to be in. I know that if my daughter gets a cold my heart breaks. I just can't imagine."
The actress concludes her heartfelt plea by stating, "I'm an actress who's not famous but maybe you know my name so I thought, 'What can I do to get my niece's name out there?'"
Anyone who thinks they may be able to help is asked to visit Olive's Facebook site or email the family at SaveOliveKang@gmail.com.
"He is absolutely the love of my life. I really, really cared for him and I loved him very, very much and I always will, but he just wasn’t right for me. That’s hard when you really, really love a person in your heart, you want to be with them, but you finally have to say, 'He's just not right for me'... (But) I wish him the best. He is amazing and baby, he's fine, but... sometimes love ain't always right." Actress Vivica A. Fox on ex-boyfriend 50 Cent.
Pop star Ricky Martin cannot help but laugh when he reads false reports of his death because he has been 'killed off' so many times over the years. The Livin' La Vida Loca hitmaker was last targeted by sick pranksters in early January (15), when he was alleged to have lost his life in a car crash - and there was even video footage of the horrific accident that spread across the Internet, supposedly showing the moment he died.
The singer was actually on vacation in his native Puerto Rico and decided to have a little fun with fans by posting two Instagram.com photos from "heaven", but he admits his family members will never be able to laugh off the death hoaxes.
He says, "I laugh about these things, but I have a mum and I have a dad, and my brother called me and he said, 'I want you to call me (when these are false). Don't send me a text, I want you to call me because I want to hear your voice.'
"It's intense, but you've gotta laugh. I'm used to this, but not my parents, they will never get used to this."
And talking about his playful Instagram posts, Martin adds, "I was on the most amazing island in the Caribbean, in Puerto Rico... which is very beautiful, so I wrote, 'I'm in heaven'. You've got to have a sense of humour."
The first photograph featured the picturesque view from his oceanside retreat, alongside the caption, "Hello from #heaven", while a second snap featured Martin admiring a Puerto Rican sunset, with the caption, "#Sunset in #heaven".

The tracks all come from studio sessions for the girl power pop group's final album Forever, and do not feature Geri Halliwell, who quit the band before recording started. The songs include new songs Pain Proof, A Day In Your Life and If It's Loving on Your Mind, and an alternative version of Forever album track Right Back at Ya.
Barry Manilow has assured fans his days of mounting large tours are over after he bids farewell to life on the road in June (15). The beloved crooner, 71, kicked off his final tour in Nebraska on Wednesday night (11Feb15) and he'll wrap up his last trek in his native New York City in June - and he insists he won't be extending the string of dates or returning for another farewell.
He tells Billboard.com, "It's the last big tour. It doesn't mean I'm retiring or anything. I'll do shows and I'll promote albums if I make any more, but no more big tours. That's it. It's too much packing. It's 40 years - more than that, really - of packing and waiting for room service.
"People think it's glamorous, but glamorous is the last word I would use for this job. You don't see anything; you see the inside of your hotel room, you see the inside of a car, you see the inside of your dressing room and then you're gone. I haven't gone sightseeing, ever. It's a job.
"Listen, Tony Bennett seems to be wonderful at it and he has no problems doing it. For me, it's enough. I'll probably miss the excitement, but I won't miss the touring. So I'm calling it One Last Time! and I mean it."
The tour coincides with the 40th anniversary of Manilow's first number one hit, Mandy.
Christina Aguilera's baby daughter Summer has become a cover girl at just six months old after posing for a new People magazine photoshoot. The Fighter hitmaker recently shared the first image of her newborn on her Instagram.com page, but was careful not to show her face in the picture.
Now, Aguilera has introduced Summer Rain to the world with a touching mother and baby shoot for People.
In the accompanying interview, the singer and The Voice judge admits juggling her duties as a mother-of-two with her work commitments has been tough, but she is determined to find the right balance to make sure seven-year-old Max, from her first marriage to Jordan Bratman, and little Summer, with her fiance Matt Rutler, want for nothing.
She says, "It's definitely not easy juggling work and motherhood, as being a parent is a full-time job within itself. You just have to make it work for you. My life has so many different moving parts, but my kids are the centre focal piece, and everything else shifts around them.
"It's hard to know you won't have all the right answers at the right times. And 'mom guilt' is the worst thing ever. But you have to surrender and let go, knowing you're doing your very best and no one loves them, or wants what's best for them more than you. They are the centre of my universe."
Actor Terrence Howard will welcome his fourth child in May (15), just three months after becoming a grandfather for the second time. The Hustle & Flow star, 45, has finally confirmed long-running reports suggesting his wife Miranda is pregnant with the couple's first child, and he admits this period of his life will be surreal as he watches his eldest kids become parents, while he deals with having a baby of his own in the house again.
During an interview on U.S. morning show Live with Kelly and Michael on Wednesday (11Feb15), he says, "My oldest daughter gave me a granddaughter two years ago and now I've got a grandson, Adrian... (who was born) a week ago. It's something else to become (a grandfather), do your third generation (sic) and become a part of something bigger than yourself, and then my wife, we're due in May, and I'm having another boy."
Howard has three adult children, daughters Aubrey and Heaven and son Hunter, from his first marriage to Lori McCommas, who he divorced for a second time in 2007.
He was also married to Michelle Ghent for a year from 2010, before secretly tying the knot with model/restaurateur Miranda in late 2013.
Bobby Brown's family has paid tribute to his ex-wife Whitney Houston online to mark the third anniversary of her death as the couple's only child continues to fight for her life in a Georgia hospital. The I Will Always Love You legend drowned in a Beverly Hills hotel suite bathroom on 11 February, 2012 and three years after her drug-related death, her daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown remains hospitalised in a medically-induced coma, after she was found unresponsive and face down in a bathtub at the Roswell home she shares with her partner Nick Gordon on 31 January (15).
After Bobby Brown's sister Leolah revealed the embattled 21 year old is "opening her eyes" and "doing well right now", other Brown relatives expressed their sadness as they remembered Houston and continued praying for Bobbi Kristina's recovery.
Houston's former sister-in-law, Tina Brown, took to her Facebook.com page and revealed she was "feeling heartbroken", as she shared photos of the late singer, who was nicknamed Nippy.
Captioning one image, she wrote, "I miss you MY sister...rip nip....I miss you sis,...like crazy!!!!!!-...rip my sister..."
Bobbi Kristina's cousin, Jerod Brown, also paid tribute by sharing the last photo he took with Houston, writing, "You will never know the last moment you will experience, the last conversation you will have, the last photo you will take. Well this was the last photo we took with you auntie and if I would have known that I would've taken a few more... In life we forget to take a few more photos, share a few more laughs, shed a few more tears, overcome a few more struggles, mentor a few more people.
"By chance we are all born, by choice we live, and we are all promised death. One thing auntie was about was Family. Right or wrong, Family is Family. It was an honor to have known you, to be loved by you, and to be inspired by you. I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU..."
He then added a message for his cousin, simply adding "WakeUpBK."
Meanwhile, Houston's friend and fellow singer Monica also took to her Instagram.com blog to salute her late pal, writing, "Nippy Only you would come to the aid of a young broken hearted girl & stay for days with me selflessly giving of your time, love & compassion... Only you would speak to the depths of my soul when I couldn't let go of the things that hurt me most...
"Only you would do for others before yourself & Only you will forever have a piece of my heart forever ... Everyday I'm Missing u (sic)... Keep watching over your Baby Girl.. #LoveUAlways".
Rocker Morrissey has branded Taylor Swift a "fraud" and dismissed Madonna's "frightening career" in a furious rant at BRIT Awards bosses. The former The Smiths star, who has received just one BRITs nomination during his 32-year career, hit out at organisers ahead of the 2015 ceremony later this month (Feb15).
He slammed the prizegiving's name as "insulting" and insisted the honours are "bogus" as they are not voted for by fans.
In a statement about the ceremony, Morrissey writes, "We are trammeled once again by what is termed the British Phonographic Industry Awards, insultingly termed The Brit Awards in much the same way that The Yank Awards might describe an American music extravaganza.
"The object of the Brit Awards is to create the impression of national consensus as they award pop artists of untested stature or value with bogus awards... The Brit Awards do not ask the public who they would like to see receive awards - for that would be to risk too much... Thus, for 2015, we have MacDonna (Madonna), who had a quiet 2014 (but who is quite usefully about to release her new album!), yet here she is again promoting her frightening career on the Brit Awards even though her music has not ever said anything at all about British life...
"The Brit Awards have hi-jacked modern music in order to kill off the heritage that produced so many interesting people, to such a degree that we could not imagine anyone who has ever truly affected the course of British music to be on stage at the O2 (Arena in London) collecting a deserved award. The maximum trimmings divert your attention from the fact that Taylor Swift has nothing to do with (Britain). To pull off rank fraud in tellyland is not a difficult undertaking, especially if you have the entire population of Peru dancing around you as you mime your song."
