Troubled pop star Justin Bieber has lashed out at photographers after a minor car accident on Tuesday (26Aug14) left his prized sportscar scratched and dented, recalling Princess Diana's fatal crash in 1997. The Baby hitmaker was behind the wheel of his Ferrari when it was rear-ended by a paparazzo in West Hollywood, California.
According to multiple reports, Bieber was annoyed that the snapper was following him and slammed on his brakes, giving the snapper on his tail little chance to stop. Neither the pop star nor the photographer were injured in the incident, and authorities are still trying to determine who was at fault.
Bieber took to Twitter.com minutes after the run-in and lashed out at eager photographers, writing, "There should be laws against what I just experienced. We should have learned from the death of Princess Diana.
"I don’t have a problem with Paparazzi but when they act recklessly they put us all in danger."
The accident comes just one day after the singer was allegedly involved in a confrontation at a new Dave & Buster’s restaurant in Los Angeles.
Princess Diana perished in a car crash in a tunnel in Paris, France, while she was being chased by members of the paparazzi.
Disney star Bella Thorne has split from her longtime boyfriend.
The 16-year-old actress/singer revealed she had parted ways with Tristan Klier during a recent Twitter.com chat with fans.
When one follower asked if she and Klier were still dating, she replied, "no i'm not." And it appears the break-up was less than amicable for the Shake It Up star - after another devotee attempted to comfort her by writing, "One day you'll find your Prince Charming", she simply responded, "or honesty".
Monday night (yes, Monday) was the 66th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards on NBC and millions tuned in. Late Night host Seth Meyers gracefully took on the task of hosting. While the show might have been way too long, we found quite a few enjoyable moments that made us laugh, smile, and cry.
Seth Meyer’s Opening Monologue
Hosting any awards show is tough, but Seth held his own. He didn’t need a musical number, or heavy gag-jokes, to win over the audience. Seth was his usual charming self, with great delivery when it came to a friendly jab, or two.
Beyonce Showed Up
Oh you didn’t know, Queen Bey graced our screens last night? Amy Poehler AKA Beyonce, is half the reason we even tune into these awards shows. She’s either hosting, presenting, or just being fabulous, and that’s alright by us.
Jimmy Kimmel’s Matthew McConaughey Jokes
“Matthew McConaughey doesn't even own a television. I happen to know for a fact that he traded his television for a conch shell full of weed.”
The "Billy On The Street" Skit Was Surprisingly Good
"He's the host of the #Emmys this year!" "Um, Seth Macfarlane?" Haha.

Usually, we're not too crazy about Billy On The Street, but his pre-taped skit with the Emmys' host, asking people on the street questions about the Emmys, was pretty hysterical.

Actress-turned-TV-host Whoopi Goldberg has penned an open letter advocating for the expansion of medical marijuana laws in New York.
In a missive written for The Cannabist, The Oscar winner applauds New York Governor Andrew Cuomo for signing a recent law pertaining to the use of medical marijuana, but she explains she is disappointed the legislation doesn't go far enough to help people suffering from a a wide variety of diseases.
Goldberg, who uses marijuana to alleviate the symptoms of glaucoma, writes, "While I'm thrilled for my fellow New Yorkers who will be able to seek treatment via marijuana when N.Y. Gov. Andrew Cuomo's plan goes into action sometime in 2016, I'm sorry to say the governor's plan doesn't include conditions like glaucoma, migraines or severe menstrual disorders - very real issues for people who suffer from them, myself included (glaucoma). "However, the great news is that under Cuomo's plan, approved by the New York Legislature in late July, doctors will be able to prescribe marijuana for at least 10 diseases and conditions - including cancer, epilepsy, AIDS, neuropathy, ALS and other degenerative diseases..."
The Ghost star closes the letter asking the governor to gather more information about medical marijuana and to lift more restrictions.
She continues, "I would have loved to have had a conversation with the governor and his staff. I probably would have asked, 'Did y'all talk to a whole lot of patients? How did you come up with the list of conditions? And did you talk to any of the other governors about what affect medical marijuana has had on patients?' "I'd also tell him, 'There are so many people this could help - and while a lot of people think others are champing at the bit to go out and party with medical marijuana, that's just not the case. People are desperate - really desperate - for the medication that helps them. And as we have seen, if we can't get it with your help here in New York, we end up having to go to other states...' "I look to New York's future and the rest of the nation's future - where marijuana is a legitimate medicine and a brand-new industry that takes root in our cities and rural communities... As a patient not yet covered, I will wait - with hopes that my condition, and the others not yet recognized by the state of New York can one day, very soon, legitimately and legally be serviced by cannabis, and included in New York's medical marijuana laws."
Rapper Iggy Azalea has placed the blame on pal Jennifer Lopez for predicting she would fall while performing on stage one day. The Australian rapper was performing her hit Fancy at a MTV Video Music Awards benefit concert on Friday night (22Aug14) when she took a tumble, but walked away unscathed.
Before performing for the main show on Sunday (24Aug14), Azalea told Entertainment Tonight that her friend Lopez is the real reason she fell off stage.
She explained, "We did a show together... and my microphone wasn't switched on. And I said, 'At least I didn't fall over. And she said, 'It'll happen to you one day.'
"I invited her to watch that show, and I fell off the stage. I was like, 'You're bad luck!'"
Azalea not only managed to stay onstage while performing Black Widow with Rita Ora at the main prizegiving, she also walked away with a trophy for Best Pop Video for Problem, her collaboration with Ariana Grande.

Singer Taylor Swift hit the stage at the MTV Video Music Awards on August 24th and the only word to describe it: Flawless. She performed her new song “Shake It Off” for the first time from her upcoming album “1989” and it was one of our favorite highlights of the entire night.
It was not only insanely entertaining, but she also added some humor and kept the audience wanting more. Supported by a massive amount of talented male dancers, she showed off her dance moves and belted it out to all the “haters” that influenced this song. Even her metallic outfit was on point. Everyone knows that shimmying and fringe go together like us and fangirling. It's just so natural. And we can’t forget about her matching “1989” microphone:
This is hands down our favorite performance of hers and we can literally watch it all day. Our only complaint is that it wasn't long enough! Taylor has grown into an amazing performer and we love being able to watch her grow with each VMA performance that she does. We've been a fan of this girl ever since the "Teardrops On My Guitar" era and are so happy that she is finally getting all the appreciation and recognition that she deserves. Taylor works her butt off and we can't wait to see what she has in store for this upcoming year. Make sure you preorder her album here!

Pop star Nick Jonas channelled his feelings of anger into the lyrics of his new song Jealous after catching another man ogling his sexy girlfriend Olivia Culpo's backside. The singer/actor reveals he initially wanted to confront the former Miss Universe's unwanted admirer when the incident occurred earlier this year (14), but he came to his senses and decided instead to vent his frustration by picking up a pen and paper.
Jonas tells Eonline.com, "I saw someone looking at her a** when we were out one night. It really upset me.
"The next day I went into the studio and wrote the song. So I got something good out of the experience even though in the moment it was frustrating."
He adds, "I was also in the middle of shooting (upcoming TV drama) Kingdom where I play an MMA (mixed martial arts) fighter, so I was all pumped up on testosterone feeling like I could beat someone up. Thankfully, I didn't."
Jonas has since recruited beauty queen Culpo to appear alongside him in the video for the new track, which will premiere next month (Sep14).
Music icon Prince is set to serve up a double treat for fans by releasing two new albums on the same day next month (Sep14).
The Purple Rain hitmaker has unveiled plans to release solo album Art Official Age, the follow up to 2010's 20Ten, and a collaborative project, Plectrum Electrum, with his all female band, 3rdEyeGirl.
A statement from Cameron Strang, Warner Bros Records Chairman and CEO, reads, "Prince is one of just a handful of visionary artists who have truly reshaped and redefined modern music and culture. "For the past 35 years, he has never stopped evolving, challenging himself, reinventing his sound, and pushing boundaries. In true Prince fashion, he has just given us not one, but two extraordinary albums that express the incredible range and depth of his talent."
Art Official Age and Plectrum Electrum will hit retailers on 30 September (14).
British pop star Jessie J went through a secret break-up last year (13) as her long-term relationship crumbled.
The Price Tag hitmaker has revealed she was in a relationship which came to an end in 2013, and she chose to keep her heartache private. The singer has poured her emotions into a new song titled You're Lost, I'm Found, and reveals her partner struggled with intimacy issues.
She tells Britain's Event magazine, "Last year I was in a relationship for quite a long time. Not in secret, but I chose for it not to be in public. And I had to leave the relationship because I was doing my best but I wasn't being let in. I've written a song about it called You're Lost, I'm Found. It says, 'I know I'm good enough for you but you won't let me be and one day you'll discover that.' "I wrote all that stuff on my own, very quickly. I really needed to get it all out. It felt amazing."
Earlier this year (14), Jessie J revealed she only dates men now, three years after coming out as bisexual.
A campaign to drive Sir Cliff Richard to the top of the U.K. charts has flopped after the song failed to crack the top 40. The music veteran's devotees launched the scheme last week (ends24Aug14) in a bid to support the star as police investigate an allegation of sexual abuse dating back to the 1980s.
However, the plan to get 1992 track I Still Believe In You to number one ended in failure on Sunday (24Aug14) when the track entered the chart at a disappointing number 57.
The single's return to the chart came just a day after Richard was questioned by police over claims a boy under the age of 16 was sexually assaulted in 1985. The star vehemently denies the allegation, calling it "completely false".
