So, here's the thing about getting a girl pregnant while you're on a break from your long-term relationship with someone else: it's bad. Don't do it, stop doing it. I say this because, recently, NBA baller for the Miami Heat Dwayne Wade and rapper Ludacris both put a pockmark on their relationships when they went ahead and decided to get other women pregnant while on a break. Wade is now engaged to Gabrielle Union, who he's been dating since forever... but six weeks before their engagement his son with Aja Metoyer was born. That's not awkward. But I guess it's fine, 'cause she's got a pretty big rock on her finger?
Luda and Eudoxie Agnan have been together since 2009, but that didn't stop him from getting Tamika Fuller pregnant with a baby girl. He and Eudoxie are back together now. Also not awkward for anyone.
Dwayne and Ludacris have both been singing the same song, and it goes a little something like this:
C'mon guys. The "we were on a break" excuse is such a lame reason to bring another human being into the world. Seriously. There has to be another way to deal with the emotional pain, right?
From here on out, we are instituting a one year minimum requirement for a "break" to officially be considered a "break-up," wherein other parties are permitted to move forward and impregnate new people at their own risk. We just made that rule. Everyone follow it, and, like, 35 percent of the world's problems will be solved. Seriously.

Mad Men star Jon Hamm is reportedly set for throat surgery in Boston, Massachusetts next month (Oct13). The actor has appeared raspy at recent events, including the Emmy Awards on Sunday (22Sep13), where he was a presenter, and the ESPY Awards, which he hosted in July (13), and now it appears he's ready to get his problems fixed.
Co-star January Jones was overheard talking about Hamm's surgery at an Emmys afterparty, according to Life & Style magazine, and unconfirmed reports suggest the 42 year old has two large polyps on his vocal cords.
Jason Sudeikis, Paula Patton, Jon Hamm and Ben Affleck were among the Hollywood stars who helped hand out trophies to athletes at the annual Excellence in Sports Performance Yearly (ESPY) Awards in Los Angeles on Wednesday (17Jul13).
Jon Hamm to Host the ESPY Awards: The Mad Men star announced today on LIVE with Kelly and Michael that he was been asked to host the 2013 ESPYS. This is the first time the AMC actor will be hosting the sports-centric televised award ceremony. Fans can catch Hamm hosting the ESPYS Wednesday, July 17 at 9 PM on ESPN from the Nokia Theater L.A. Live in Los Angeles. [Deadline]

However, just as things are staring to look up for April, she is diagnosed with cancer. The drama is set to premiere in early 2014 on ABC Family. [Deadline]

FOX Apologizes to Zooey Deschanel: During the coverage of last week’s search for the Boston Marathon Bomber, a FOX news affiliate KDFW in Dallas-Fort Worth, the closed captioning named the New Girl actress instead of the suspect. The text read, ““Marathon Bomber. He is 19-year-old Zooey Deschanel.” After reacting to the erroneous error on Twitter, Deschanel has received an official apology from the station. Company president Kala J. Patterson says in a statement issued Tuesday they “sincerely apologize for this error.” [EW]

Jimmy Kimmel has been hosting his ABC talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live! for over nine years, and is now branching out to new, exciting and completely different projects. Well, they're still hosting gigs, but they're pretty impressive hosting gigs. It was announced in the fall that Kimmel will be hosting the White House Correspondents Dinner, set to take place at the end of April. Now, Kimmel has also signed on to host the 64th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards.
Kimmel has hosted award shows in the past—his resume includes the American Music Awards and the ESPY Awards. But the Emmys is definitely one of his most impressive gigs. Kimmel is known for a down-played snark and sarcastic comic sensibility, in contrast to the more upbeat "bells-and-whistles"-style hosts of recent years, such as Neil Patrick Harris, Jimmy Fallon, and last year's Jane Lynch. Since just about no one can top NPH in energetic hosting, it might be refreshing to see a new take on the hosting job in the form of Kimmel's sardonic delivery.
Reaffirming that very style of humor, Kimmel recently joked, "I hope to be able to do for the Emmys this year what Eddie Murphy did for the Oscars." Kimmel's late night show offered a memorable, star-studded movie parody video on the night of the Academy Awards.
The 64th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards will air on Sunday, Sept. 23 on ABC. The White House Correspondents' Dinner will air on Saturday, Apr. 28 on C-SPAN. [EW]
Jonah Hill trades in Super-Bad for Super-Skinny! The actor walked the red carpet at the ESPY Awards in L.A. on Wednesday night and boy did he turn heads. Apparently the star has been slimming down for months in preparation for his role in action flick 21 Jump Street and it's been estimated that in total he has lost about 40 pounds. What's his weight loss secret? A source claims that in the spring Hill "went on a diet for the movie, but gained weight at first! Finally, he got a nutritionist and a trainer." We were shown a glimpse of this slimmer side of Jonah back at an event in March, but even just 4 months later you can see a drastic difference. Check it out!
The Knocked Up actor comments about getting fit saying, "It's not fun..."I wouldn't say it's the most fun endeavor I've ever took on in my life — but it's important. And I'm enjoying it. If I eat something unhealthy now, I kind of feel a little weird and my body hurts." Well keep up the great work - you look wonderful. Just as long as your humor hasn't gone down with your pants size.
Captain America, a.k.a. Chris Evans, stopped by Late Night With Jimmy Fallon to promote his new movie, but who wants to hear about that? I didn't think so. I know what you want and that's a video of Evans failing miserably at beer pong. Dude, even Betty White brought more game than Captain America. Step it up, Evans.
Tom Felton stopped by Late Night With David Letterman to promote his new rap album -- oh wait, he's not doing that? Damnit. He stopped by Letterman to not speak at all while Regis Philbin offered to take him to Montana and hijacked his interview. This feels like a conversation with two old guys on a train that you just can't escape. Enjoy the awkwardness.
The infinitely charming Seth Meyers chatted with Jay Leno about hosting the ESPY awards, but first he needed to prove his worth as a sports fan. He's been to a Cubs game, woo! The folks at Wrigley Field asked him to sing "Take Me Out to The Ball Game" and apparently it was a very trying experience.
Finally, apparently Kid Rock is still around. And it seems he's less of a badass and more of a philanthropist? This Daily Show interview is our proof, I know you'll need it.

Justin Timberlake was chosen to hand out the Capital One Cup at the ESPY Awards on July 13th, which I'm told is something really special that is awarded to the top women's and men's Division I college athletic programs in the country. Anyway, so Justin Timberlake felt he had to prepare for the event (which is curious, because appearing as a marionette in the Bye Bye Bye video looked like it required some degree of physical prowess), and so he joined a few sports teams at various colleges so he could understand how much hard work it takes to win such an award. And it turns out, he wasn't very good at any of them! But none of expected him to be, really. He could've probably afforded to lay off the Omletville.
The American sports star and the one-time Dawson's Creek actress quietly split last year (09) after just three years of marriage, but the estranged couple reconnected over Team U.S.A.'s soccer success in South Africa.
The sportsman confirmed he called Kajlich after scoring the goal that put his national side into the last 16 of the World Cup and blew Kajlich a kiss during a post-match TV interview.
And, at the ESPYs, they were very much a couple again.
The actress said, "We care a lot about each other."
But she made it clear, "We're still separated."
Donovan added to the confusion on the red carpet, adding, "We love each other very much."
