Lucky 7 scrapped after just two weeks

U.S. series Lucky 7 has been axed after just two weeks on air. Bosses at ABC have decided to scrap the show, about a group of service station workers who win the lottery, with immediate effect.
It was based on the BBC programme The Syndicate, which starred Jimi Mistry and Timothy Spall.
The cancellation comes after actress Dana Delaney warned ABC executives they would regret axing her crime drama Body of Evidence to make way for Lucky 7.
She recently told The Huffington Post, “I feel like we had three strong seasons. I would just like to mention that the show (Lucky 7) that replaced us got half the amount of viewers that we did.
“I think we did OK. I think they could’ve kept us a little bit longer and I think they’re going to probably regret it.
