Actress Katie Holmes is breathing a sigh of relief after her daughter Suri Cruise's lost dog was found alive and well.
Chihuahua Honey went missing during a visit to a friend's house in Benedict Canyon, near Beverly Hills, California last weekend (23-24Aug14), just weeks after Holmes adopted her.
The worried Batman Begins star plastered posters around the neighbourhood alerting locals to the dog's disappearance and even offered up a $1,000 (£588) reward for the pet's safe return, but the search was called off on Wednesday (27Aug14) after officials at the Lucky Puppy Rescue organization located the pooch not far from where she disappeared.
Suri's furry friend was subsequently checked out by a vet and given the all-clear to return home, reports TMZ.com. Suri, eight, is Holmes' daughter from her marriage to Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise.
Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul caused mayhem as he prepared for his historic night at the Emmy Awards on Monday (25Aug14) by staging a Twitter scavenger hunt all over Los Angeles for fans of the show. The actor found keepsakes in a closet and decided to part with them by sharing them among savvy fans - but he had no idea so many people would be interested in his character's license plate, plants, props and scripts from the show.
He explains, "The first clue was: 'Go find R.J. Mitte, aka Walt, Jr., at the IHop (restaurant) in West Hollywood. He'll be eating breakfast and he'll have some signed scripts for you'.
"Literally within 60 seconds, the IHop is just bombarded with just crazy fans and causes so much traffic."
Fans were so keen to get their hands on Paul's random stuff from the show, some were caught cheating.
He explains, "These ladies were camped outside my house and I pulled out and... they kept following me. I walked directly up to their, I took a picture of them and said, 'Shame on you, shame on you! You cannot cheat! You don't win anything!'"
Paul showed off photos from the scavenger hunt during an appearance on chat show Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Thursday (28Aug14), and one featured himself on a park swing, dressed as his Breaking Bad character Jesse Pinkman.
He explained, "This is me in a West Hollywood park. I said, 'Tag, you're it,' on Twitter. 'The first person to tag me in the West Hollywood park (will win the suit I was wearing)'... and I signed it on the back, 'Ya b**ch, Aaron Paul'."
The actor made it extra difficult because when fans arrived at the park, he started running away from them.
Soccer ace David Beckham escaped unscathed after losing control of his motorcycle in Los Angeles on Thursday (28Aug14).
The British sportsman and father of four, 39, was leaving Shamrock Tattoo in West Hollywood when he reportedly swerved to avoid the paparazzi and ended up falling off his custom-built Super Vintage '93 Knuckle bike on Sunset Boulevard.
The red-faced sports star and model had to recruit pals from the tattoo parlour to help him wheel the motorbike back to the store, according to TMZ.com.
Australian actor Bill Kerr has died, aged 92. The South Africa-born TV and radio star passed away on Friday (29Aug14) while watching television at his home in Perth, Australia.
The cause of death had not been released as WENN went to press.
Kerr's first major film role was in Harmony Row in 1933 but he did not find fame until he moved to the U.K. and became a sidekick on BBC radio show Hancock's Half Hour alongside comedy icon Tony Hancock in the 1950s.
He won recurring parts in British soap opera Compact in 1965 and Doctor Who in 1967, and he appeared in a host of films including The Dam Busters, Gallipoli and the 2003 version of Peter Pan.
Kerr also performed in musicals, including a role as The Devil in the first West End production of Damn Yankees in 1957.

A musical stage adaptation of Back To The Future will be hit by delays after the director walked out in a bust-up over creative differences.
The sci-fi adventure comedy, starring Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd, was a smash hit movie in 1985, and a musical stage version was scheduled to premiere in London's West End in 2015 to coincide with the film's 30th anniversary.
The production will no longer be ready for next year (15) as the British director Jamie Lloyd has withdrawn from his role following creative disputes with writer Bob Gale, who penned the movie, its sequels and the upcoming musical script.
Workshops for the show were due to be staged but now Gale will rewrite the entire script and send the new version to directors next year (15). Jamie Lloyd tells Britain's Daily Mail newspaper his departure was "just a case of wanting to stand by my vision... you absolutely have to believe in it or there's not much point."
The musical production is now expected to remain in development until 2016.
Twin Peaks director David Lynch fears he upset Kanye West by turning down the chance to take charge of the rapper's Blood On The Leaves video. The moviemaker, who directed a recent Duran Duran concert film, tells the Daily Beast he met with West after raving about the rap star's song in an interview and the odd couple discussed a video collaboration for the track.
He says, "I was going to do the music video for Blood on the Leaves, but it never happened. I didn't come up with any ideas that I thought he would like. Kanye came up to the house one day. Kanye's a good guy, and a great musician. I loved the song, and that's what brought us together, but I couldn't come up with ideas that thrilled either one of us.
"I feel I let him down a little bit."
Let’s not allow Jimmy Kimmel to soil the good name of Friends fan-fiction. Although the late night host’s heavily funded but halfhearted attempt at the time-honored art form warranted few laughs, it did remind us that there are plenty of worthwhile pieces of writing floating around the Internet devoted to the West Village sextet. Some are admirable in quality, others in sheer passion. And some deserve a hat tip simply because of how damn weird they are.
Following Kimmel’s reunion of Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, and Lisa Kudrow, we hit the dark corners of the web to round up the strangest pieces of Friends fan-fiction we could find. Some rearrange the narrative of the beloved show in creative ways, some test the very fabrics of the laws of reality… and some simply vie to be as disturbing as conceivably possible. Take your pick.

Kanye West has opened up about his relationship with the paparazzi, revealing his father once worked as a celebrity snapper and the rapper often counts on photographers to help him with everyday tasks.
He reportedly made the admission during a deposition as part of a legal battle with photographer Daniel Ramos, who is suing the star over a scuffle at Los Angeles International Airport last year (13). During his testimony, obtained by Dailymail.co.uk, West insists he has a special connection to the paparazzi because his father Ray West, who was a photojournalist for The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, was once one of them.
He says, "My father was a paparazzo himself. My father was a medical illustrator, a Black Panther, a Christian marriage counsellor. My mother was the first black chair of the English department in Chicago State. They didn't raise me to be out here wrestling with random paparazzi in front of LAX." West goes on to insist he trusts some snappers enough to get in a car with them, and they often help him out with parking and avoiding traffic tickets.
He adds, "Sometimes I get in the car with the paparazzi. Paparazzi help me to park. The paparazzi watch my car and makes sure that cops don't give me tickets (sic). There are some nice guys out here trying to just feed their family."
The Stronger hitmaker also reveals he was in an emotional state at the time of the bust-up with Ramos as he had just found out his grandfather was seriously ill.
West was convicted of battery for attacking Ramos, but insists he did not mean to hurt the snapper. He was sentenced to two years of probation, anger management sessions, and 250 hours of community service.
Bosses of a video games manufacturer have asked a judge to dismiss Lindsay Lohan's lawsuit over allegations a character featured in Grand Theft Auto V is based on her. The Mean Girls star filed suit against Take-Two Interactive, the developers behind the popular game, last month (Jul14), claiming they used her image without permission to create the fictional Lacey Jonas.
Lohan also alleges gamemakers based the character on her own life, but Take-Two bosses have now fired back at the actress' claims and asked a judge at a court in New York City to dismiss the case.
In legal documents, obtained by the New York Post, company bosses state, "The portrayal of a Hollywood figure being chased by paparazzi, of course, is hardly unique to Ms. Lohan... She also alleges that Grand Theft Auto V features a hotel similar to the Hotel Chateau Marmont of West Hollywood, where she once resided. This allegation underscores the thinness of Ms. Lohan's claims: GTAV is a parody of Los Angeles, so it is unsurprising that it features similar buildings... The complaint is a bad-faith filing and abuse of the court system and should be dismissed."
Grand Theft Auto V was released last September (13) and proved popular with video games fans, scoring worldwide sales of more than $800 million (£470.6 million) on its first day.
Troubled pop star Justin Bieber has lashed out at photographers after a minor car accident on Tuesday (26Aug14) left his prized sportscar scratched and dented, recalling Princess Diana's fatal crash in 1997. The Baby hitmaker was behind the wheel of his Ferrari when it was rear-ended by a paparazzo in West Hollywood, California.
According to multiple reports, Bieber was annoyed that the snapper was following him and slammed on his brakes, giving the snapper on his tail little chance to stop. Neither the pop star nor the photographer were injured in the incident, and authorities are still trying to determine who was at fault.
Bieber took to Twitter.com minutes after the run-in and lashed out at eager photographers, writing, "There should be laws against what I just experienced. We should have learned from the death of Princess Diana.
"I don’t have a problem with Paparazzi but when they act recklessly they put us all in danger."
The accident comes just one day after the singer was allegedly involved in a confrontation at a new Dave & Buster’s restaurant in Los Angeles.
Princess Diana perished in a car crash in a tunnel in Paris, France, while she was being chased by members of the paparazzi.
