7th Heaven child star features in provocative magazine spread

Former child star Mackenzie Rosman is testing fans by stripping off for U.S. men’s magazine Maxim. The 23-year-old actress, who played the youngest daughter of a religious family in beloved TV series 7th Heaven, admits her new underwear shots for the publication’s upcoming September (13) issue is sure to stir up controversy.
She tells the mag, “They (people) might be (surprised). But… it’s who I am.”
Rosman is convinced her big reveal won’t cause as much drama as her former TV sister Jessica Biel did when she posed topless for the cover of Gear magazine when she was 19 in 2000.
The actress, who was nine at the time, says, “I remember that. It was a big deal. The magazine was banned on set, I think by orders of (TV mogul) Aaron Spelling. I sneaked a peek at it, though. It was racy gossip amongst the women of 7th Heaven.”
Biel, who is now married to Justin Timberlake, has since confessed she regrets posing for the cover shot.
She told Entertainment Weekly, “That photoshoot was just a really bad decision on my part and I got myself involved with people who weren’t thinking about me and were instead thinking about what kind of a story they could get out of it.”
