Synopsis:
Documentary that explores the ways people have looked to the Divine for explanations of the beauty and chaos of the world, to understand our origins, for a guiding purpose in life, and for clues to what might lie beyond the bounds of physical existence. To answer these questions, billions of people throughout the world and over four millennia have turned to the God at the center of Judaism, Christianity and Islam. The program seeks to expand the viewer's understanding of the way men and women have experienced God from the time of Abraham to the present.
