Synopsis:
An affable drifter and his precocious daughter pass through a town where a still-sprightly senior citizen is deflecting pressure from her greedy niece and nephew to sell her land so they can develop it commercially. As the little girl bonds with the elderly woman, her father develops a romantic interest in the pretty social worker who's one of the woman's staunchest defenders and they all work together to save the land and do what's best for the town.
