Synopsis:
Pulitzer Prize winning author Philip Caputo's best-selling account of his Vietnam experiences and his transformation from idealistic college student turned Marine to battle-hardened and subsequently embittered veteran is dramatized in this two-part film with Brad Davis as Caputo and Keith Carradine and Michael O'Keefe as his buddies. An Emmy Award nomination went to the film's sound mixer.
