Synopsis:
Documentary that celebrates the multi-faceted lives of Latinos living in America. Weaving a tapestry of media images, personal stories and artistic expression, the film contests the myth of a monolithic Latino culture by exploring the diverse lives of Latinos ranging from musicians Carlos Santana and Tito Puente to the first Puerto Rican female presidential cabinet member, Aida Alvarez, to scores of other successful and powerful Latinos including poets, performance artists, Little Havana doctors, Chicano border-patrol officers and a Harvard-bound East L.A. youth.
