Synopsis:
When Laurel tries to conquer her fear of water by taking swimming lessons at the local community center, she develops a friendship with her teacher, Susan. Both women are struggling with uncertainties about their relationships with men. Laurel confides in Susan about her boyfriend, Jake, while Susan tells Laurel about her declining marriage to Johnny. Soon, the two women become best friends. However, when they discover that Jake and Johnny are, in fact, the same man, their friendship is severely tested.
