Synopsis:
A series relating the adventures of 10-year-old Sara Stanley, who comes to live with her deceased mother's relatives on Prince Edward Island after her father loses his financial empire. Sara and her young friends involve themselves in the romances and feuds of the adults in the community. Set in the village of Avonlea circa 1910.
