Synopsis:
An adaptation of two of Anthony Trollope's novels, the series details the lives, loves, and conflicts among the ecclesiastical community of a fictitious English cathedral city. The amusing plot revolves around the Rev. Septimus Harding, an old duffer who wouldn't harm the proverbial flea and who consequently suffers from what his bishop call "persistent bouts of Christianity."
