Synopsis:
Based on Aldous Huxley's 1932 sci-fi novel about a future century, in which nations have joined in partnership to avert wars threatening to destroy the planet. Free sex, self-indulgent shopping and emotional detachment are encouraged by Mustapha Mond, a benevolent dictator and his no-nonsense Director of Hatcheries and Conditioning (DHC). In a society that worships promiscuity, Bernard Marx and Lenina Crowne are beginning to feel pangs of uncertainty as their feelings for each other grow. They embark on a journey to Arizona where the last of the uncivilized people live in poverty and in a society that believes in love, monogamy and natural parenthood. There they meet a man named John Cooper. When they return to civilization with John and his mother Linda, he throws their lives into chaos and pits them against their society.
