Synopsis:
A movie pilot sequel to the "Dobie Gillis" series which ran on CBS from 1959-1963. The film focuses on the original characters 20 years later, with Dobie now wed to Zelda, his high school sweetheart, and introduces the new character of Georgie, the Gillis' 17-year-old son. Dobie and Zelda are trying to save their town, which is slowly going under because of economic reverses. Thalia Menninger, now the richest woman in the world, has a direct connection to the town's demise and offers an interesting proposition to save the town.
