Synopsis:
Profile of Olympic gold-medalist Bruce Jenner. Handicapped with dyslexia as a child, Jenner excelled outside of the classroom, playing a variety of sports. After a serious football injury in his freshman year of college, Jenner was drawn to the multiple-trial event known as the Decathlon. Jenner competed in both the 1972 and 1976 Olympics, winning the gold in '76 and setting a new world record. Jenner's success brought him endorsement deals and captured the attention of Hollywood.
