Synopsis:
A live sports special, from Calgary and locations around the United States, examining major stories surrounding the Winter Olympics a week before the start of the Games. Focuses on the inner drive and long-held dreams that impel some of the world's top athletes as they prepare to go for the gold. The special also showcases the stories of athletes who know they have no chance to win a medal, but are just happy to compete and be a part of the Olympic experience.
