Synopsis:
A two-part "WonderWorks" presentation about a Depression-era family living in Australia, who decide to go off and search for gold. In the first part, the Fletcher family sets up camp along with other poverty-stricken families hoping to find gold, and 12-year-old Alec Fletcher finds he has a problem dealing with Robbie, a bully. In part two, when Alec and Robbie find a gold nugget near the camp site, all the miners put in their claims hoping to avoid a gold rush. However, it looks as if the Fletchers mights lose their claim after Alec's father is seriously injured.
