Synopsis:
A movie about the emotional and physical battle facing a mother in prison, and the psychological trauma that threatens to destroy her family. Billie Nickerson "borrows" some money from the cash drawer at work for her boyfriend Van. When Van fails to replace it, she is convicted of embezzlement and sent to jail. Her sister, Janice, reluctantly agrees to take care of her children, but neither suspects the tense situation that arises and how it will affect both of their families.
