Synopsis:
A commemoration, set on the deck of the ocean liner Queen Elizabeth 2, to mark the 50th anniversary of D-Day, the day the Allied Forces crossed the English Channel to Normandy during World War II. Features performances by international stars, reunions, eyewitness stories, photographs, music, and letters and poems by some of those who served in WW II. On board the QE2 are thousands of American and British soldiers who landed on D-Day.
