Synopsis:
A 16-year-old African-American girl struggles with the lack of a father in her family life. A relative's wedding brings the family back together for the first time since Alicia's father left ten years ago. His departure left her mother bitter about men, her brother troubled and lacking a male role model and Alicia yearning to reunite with her dad.
