Synopsis:
A five-part chronicle of Davy Crockett, a legendary frontiersman-pioneer of the early 1800s. In "Davy Crockett, Indian Fighter," the first adventure, Davy and his friend George Russell, attempt to convince Red Stick, chief of the Blackfeet Indians, to give up his war against settlers and join the other chiefs in a peace treaty.

"Davy Crockett Goes to Congress," the second story, relates Davy's adventures as he journeys to Washington to represent his home state of Tennessee in the Senate. The third adventure, "Davy Crockett at the Alamo," depicts the heroic fight of two hundred men attempting to defend the Texas Alamo against thousands of Mexican troops. "Davy Crockett's Keelboat Race," the fourth episode, is set in Illinois and relates Davy's keelboat race against Mike Fink, "the king of the river."

The fifth episode, "Davy Crockett and the River Pirates," teams Davy, George and Mike Fink in an attempt to end the reign of the Ohio River Cave-in-Rock den of pirates. Broadcast as segments of the "Disneyland" "Frontierland" series.
