Synopsis:
A trilogy of stories set in the mythic West of 1875. Each segment depicts how a dead man's evil gun, passed from man to man, changes the lives of all who own it. The episodes are entitled: "The Great McDonacle," the story of Harry McDonacle, a second-rate performer in a traveling show who suddenly becomes a world class marksman after buying the dead man's gun; "Fool's Gold," the tale of a skilled con man, Jack Fleetwood, who steals the gun and attempts to con a simple-minded farmer out of his life's savings; and "My Brother's Keeper," the story of two brothers Cole and Willy Ballard, who find the gun near a skeleton. Willy is wary, but Cole insists on taking the revolver and soon undergoes a change of character.
