Synopsis:
A "CBS Schoolbreak Specials" presentation based on the true story of John Evans, an Alabaman who was electrocuted in 1983 for the robbery-murder of a pawnbroker in 1977. Portions of a 60-minute video-taped interview in which Evans told his story to the prison chaplain five days before his execution are included in the special, and Evans' voice is used for the narration.
