Synopsis:
Documentary about the television series "Eight Is Enough," which aired on ABC from 1977 to 1981. The series starred Dick Van Patten as the father of eight children. To succeed, the show had to overcome seemingly insurmountable obstacles including the loss of one of its leading stars, actress Diana Hyland, who died from cancer three days after the show's March 15, 1977 premiere. But the "Bradfords" prevailed and overcame behind-the-scenes turmoil to find a slot on ABC's primetime schedule, consistently hitting the Top 20 during its 5-year run. The program catches up with the cast to see where the past 20 years have led them and how being a member of the "Bradford" family has affected their lives and careers.
